The shuttle doesn't get you very far. It would also be great if they had an easier way for travelers who rely on free wifi to get in touch to schedule the shuttle from off site. It also is a bit confusing/misleading to have an airport shuttle listed in amenities when it's more of an outside service that they call and not their own that they manage. It was an amenity that was high up on my must haves list and it was disappointing to be told they did not have one.

The grounds were lovely. The staff was helpful and friendly, especially those in the dining area and reception. Breakfast was fantastic! Lots of options The room was spacious and very clean. Beds were very comfortable.

Lovely old property in the hills above Florence. The staff were lovely, the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was generous. There is an amazing walk down the hill to the city however, if walking is not your thing there is a shuttle bus that is very convenient.

It was like a small little castle. And also romantic. The people there were very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was really delicious. It was a little bit outside of Florenz. So it was very quite. About a 15 minutes walk. There was also a shuttle service. A car parc was also available

If you rent a car, there are roads near the place that are super narrow and can be scary.

The hotel is closed to Florence, but on a very quiet place: It offers a shuttle to the city. The view is amazing, the villa is authentic and beautiful. The stuff are amazing.

This property is stunning. It is set on beautiful grounds with spectacular views. The free shuttle service was excellent and we used it every day. The staff were extremely helpful. We had an early tour booked and the staff offered to have a breakfast box ready for us at 7am with our taxi. Exceptional service. We also ate in the restaurant and the food and wine were delicious. Would definitely come back and stay at this hotel. We loved everything about it.

A minor thing, in the room the bed was turned away from the window. The view would make the stay perfect.

We roomed in the Annex a very short walk to the restaurant but STAIRS. A lot of stairs, and no elevator in this building. If possible ask to be roomed in the main building, but that might be more $$.

The grounds are beautiful and romantic, and probably better later than March when the plants and flowers are in bloom. There is a lovely grove of olive tree along with a "Villa" style garden and walkways. The best part is the free shuttle to the edge of the Old City and Uffizi Gallery. The drop of point is about a 10 minute to the gallery and the Statues of David, Hercules and the Bronze of Cosimo Medici.

We had booked the Annex room for our kids and it only had an exterior entrance. I wish that was made clear in the description.

Location was fantastic as it was close to the city, but far enough to be quiet. Daily breakfast was excellent. The shuttle service to the city is very useful. The staff was very helpful in booking taxis for us when needed. One day, we had an early tour and they even packed us breakfast bags to go.

I would welcome the opportunity to use the shuttle bus later than 8 pm (in March), so we could stay in the city a bit longer.

Staying at Hotel Agape in Florence was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel at home. The location of the hotel was breathtaking, wonderful garden and hotel surrounding, historical building offering, free parking truly enhanced my experience. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, I especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities like the tea and coffee. The dining experience at the hotel was exceptional. The breakfast and dinner options were delicious, and the service was impeccable. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the genuine care of the staff, especially b-day welcome drink during breakfast 🙂. One of the highlights of my stay was the shuttle bus service to and from the city center. It made exploring Florence so convenient and stress-free. And the bus driver was very pleasant and gallant. Overall, my experience at Hotel Agape exceeded all expectations. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay and make our b-day more special!

The lack of tissues, no replacement of water, no hair conditioner. The bed wasn’t made properly each day, i.e. bottom sheet wasn’t smoothed and straightened.

The shuttle only takes you to two stops. The closest stop to the train station is around 30 minutes walking, so if you plan to visit Siena or Pisa for the day, you will need to use a Taxi, that costs around $30-40. Would mostly recommend if you are passing by with a car or just enjoying Florence itself.

The place is very nice, staff is very thoughtful and helpful. The breakfast is really good, with lots of options and very good quality. They even provided a breakfast box for the day we went off very early.

I love the location and it’s definitely a historical building. Meaning I’m a spoiled American and used to staying in contemporary clean modern hotels.. that being said the price was fantastic. It was a way from the city and a beautiful area.

The complete location of the hotel is wonderful. The Staff, Breakfast, and Room everything were above the expectations. I would recommend this hotel to other people if they are visiting Florence, Italy for a Business trip or a Vacation.
