JamaicaThe parking situation was a con for me. Also, there were water lock offs in the middle of the night (this could be seasonal but I think it would be prudent for a hotel to have a back up water tank and generator to avoid water lock offs).

Perfect location in middle of 7 mile beach. Easy to walk to restaurants, grocery store. All staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Beach and all facilities exceptionally clean.

The staff were superb and friendly however they were overworked and in need of a few more staff members to make this service run smoother and guests didn’t feel left out or waiting too long. I would’ve like to have seen more TLC of the garden areas which I think l make a huge difference on entering any hotel

CanadaThe rooms need some maintenance. Paint etc. I didn’t love that there wasn’t an elevator to the third floor as I have some mobility issues. In fairness if I had did a little more research I could’ve known and booked a ground or second floor room. The front desk staff were less than friendly both checking in and out.
The location was fantastic. The beach is absolutely beautiful. Bongo’s was nice. The grounds were well maintained. The servers and bartenders were lovely. Loved the pool too!

United States of AmericaWe booked our room with breakfast which ended up being the continental breakfast. My husband and I both felt that it was pretty bare or just wasn't what we were anticipating which was to have a traditional Jamaican breakfast which was available but we would then need to pay additionally for it and we had already prepaid breakfast so that was a little inconvenient. This is the only reason why I am giving this facility a rating of a 9.
The staff were friendly and helpful and we loved our balcony and the bathtub in our bathroom! The property is steps away from the beach making it super easy for a stroll at any time of the day. Also, the masseuse was awesome! I would totally recommend getting one! I had two over the course of the 4 days we stayed there. Rohan was super helpful from our initial booking and we really enjoyed Gavin, our transportation guide.

I understand that Covid impacted the economy but honestly they need to maintain this place —-the outdoor furniture tables, chairs etc needs some attention as well as the pool & jacuzzi. As well the bars and restaurants. Used to be a lovely bar & restaurant—-:(
It’s on the beach and our beachfront room was lovely. Lovely staff who do everything to keep the guests comfortable and happy.

The customer service from Abigail, the front desk receptionist, Michelle housekeeping supervisor, Nesha the waitress, Cameron and Sandu was exceptional. United States of AmericaThe service at Bongos was super slow! It took an hour to get our food, and we were the only people there! There was no explanation. Every question we had was met with “I need to check”: do you have champagne? Can you make a dark and stormy? Do you have lobster? The food was delicious when it finally came out, but it was hard to eat because the room was so hot. And then the power went out and the generator was so loud. We were told that the servers haven’t been getting their tips even though they were told they would at the end of the month, so we tipped them cash. The lunch was also painfully slow. Not sure what’s going on as staff to patron ratio more than adequate. Marley’s next door saved us the rest our stay! Super staff, great happy hour, yummy food, and spectacular ocean views especially at sunset!

The location is great! Sandy H is on the beautiful and clean beach and close to town as well. Food is well priced and beach bar is very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. 7 min down the beach is Miss Lilly’s resto and beach bar which has a great vibe!

United States of AmericaFabulous views from the third floor beach front rooms. We had a corner room which was large and comfortable. The staff was very helpful, especially Pops who seems to run the place. If you need anything just ask Pops! The outdoor furniture could use some sprucing up and the on-site food was disappointing. No problem though, there are lots of eateries near by. The beach bar next door has good food and the Patti man comes around every afternoon! Great location on the beautiful seven mile beach makes this a good choice.

The breakfast terrace and bar are right on the beach. We had continental breakfast included. It was fresh and delicious. Additional extras like omlette ect. could be ordered for an extra charge. The location right on the beach is perfect and there are several restaurants within walking distance. The staff was attentive and helpful. The hotel manager and the man for all questions (Pops?) were always interested in giving the guests a good time. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We ate 2 times in the hotel restaurant and found it fresh and delicious. We would very much like to vacation here again.

United States of AmericaOur only complaints were that they were out of red stripe beer (only had the sweet flavored ones) and Wray and Nephew white rum. That surprised us.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. They really made you feel welcome. Location was perfect - convenient to everything. We were fortunate to receive a complimentary upgrade as it wasn't overly crowded. We loved that there was a variety of people/families from all over the world. World definitely go back!

Sandy Haven surprised us with an upgrade to an ocean view room for free and it was beautiful. Room was clean and spacious with a big balcony. Perfect location on the beach with incredible sunsets. The staff were friendly and chatty. Pina coladas are the best in Jamaica!
