Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumThe rooms felt too small and were too hot. Maybe the space could be exploited differently to make the guests more comfortable and feel less trapped between the walls. Whenever we entered our rooms, the temperature was around 24/25 Celsius. We turned A/C on but the room became too cold like 17/18 Celsius during the night so we had to turn it off and the room became too hot again.
The cleaning team did a very good job keeping our rooms clean and enjoyable everyday. The location was good as it allowed us to explore Akihabara and is close to the Station. The breakfast was enjoyable with a good amount of choices and a very kind staff.

GreeceNo room service, so make sure you either eat out or pack snacks from the nearby stores . Laundry is expensive, so make sure you either pack plenty of clothes or use the laundromat. Again, for a hotel that has so many foreign visitors, English should be more broadly used by the staff. God bless Google translate! The room was a double one, still, compared to the European standards, it was rather small. A had for instance a cable to charge my phone 3m long and I could literally go anywhere around the room with my phone in hand, still plugged in, so you can imagine the size. If I was with a second person, the room would feel even smaller and less comfy. But I guess that is typical here, so if you hook something similar, imagine a small single room in European standards so you can manage expectations.
Good location, right next to metro station and JR train lines station. That way you can go anywhere around Tokyo easily. Also extremely close to Electric city, so if you wish to look into shops with used appliances, anime collectibles, cards, books etc, it’s the ideal neighborhood. Also 7/11, Family Mart and other shops for snacks and necessities are very close by. Nice view from the windows of the room, there are also smokers room, which I consider it a big plus. Friendly staff, their knowledge of the English language may be very limited but they will do their best to help you with a lot of things, even book Shinkansen tickets if you don’t know how.

United States of AmericaThe room is small which is a norm in Tokyo.
It's at a perfect location right outside of the Akihabara station. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast at the hotel is very rich too. The staff are very polite and helpful.

United KingdomThe hotel is sandwiched between tall buildings which means there was no decent view from our window - it was difficult to judge the weather as you could only just see the sky way above with difficulty.
The location was excellent as it was directly opposite Akihabara station which made journeys easy and convenient. It was also close to shops and restaurants and the general "buzz" of Akihabara. The room was pleasant and stylish and the air con was fitted into the wall and was easier to understand than others we had experienced - it was also a little quieter than many. The staff were very helpful and we left our luggage there at both ends of our stay.

United States of AmericaThe only complaint was we felt the bed was a bit to stiff and was uncomfortable. We knew it was a tight fit with two adults and a toddler, so that didn't both us. Overall was just the quality/comfortability of the bed.
Rooms were adequate despite family size and service by all employees we dealt with was great. Location was great near a station and to the rest of Akihabara.

CanadaIt’s quite common for most of the hotels in Japan, the room is relatively small especially we have two checked-in luggage’s. It’s almost filled the room.
Very Convenient location, only 1 minute walk distances from the JR station. The room is clean with all the required supplies.

United Arab EmiratesConsidering I was just paying for the room & nothing extra like breakfast it was a lot, but considering I had been staying in hostels most of my trip of course the price seemed high.
I loved how close it was to the train station as it made my days so much easier. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve been in in my entire time in Japan & it was the first time I slept fully through the night on my trip. The laundry facility was perfect as I was right at the end of my trip so just what I needed. Staff were amazing.

IndonesiaThe stock of coffee for room shall be asked to the receptionist everyday since we don't need to clean the room daily. It would be better to prepare the stock in front of the reception like the others such as tea, sugar etc.
The location is very close to Akihabara Railway Station so it is easy to go anywhere in Japan by train. It is also close to get food as well as amusements around the hotel. The room is relatively small but very clean and the bathroom is large enough and complete amenities, The breakfast is superb since it is buffet style with varieties of food.

BelgiumBreakfast is varied enough but a bit repetitive if staying long time, as dishes are alternated following a two-days pattern. Quite limited selection of sweets if this is what you look for (but plenty to compensate).
Very good position in the heart of Akihabara district, close to the Akihabara JR train station, to two metro lines and well connected to both Tokyo airports. Several restaurants around. Hotel is clean and comfortable, staff is helpful and WiFi works well. Breakfast is very good but a bit repetitive for long stays (following a two-days pattern). Sweets selection is very limited but plenty of nice Japanese-style food. Room is quite small but in line with Tokyo standards. Vending machines at each floor are helpful. Overall, very good quality/price.
