Beds to small and mattress slid off base. Could just get into the shower through the small door of which half opened onto basin Could hardly move around the beds ( twin room) Maybe ok for one person. Needs freshening up, walls are badly scuffed and dirty.

The room needs updating. The bathroom is a little worn out (mold on grout from the moisture), curtains didn't close well, floor was worn. The ventilation in the bathroom wasn't good, towels didn't dry out with a day. The toilet was really close to the sink, so it was very uncomfortable to sit there. The blankets are too warm and heavy, but it's like a curse in every hotel we ever stayed in (maybe it's just us).

The location was very nice and quiet. The staff was friendly and we got out extra blanket and pillow as we requested. We also requested a terass and we got it and it was really nice and quiet to sit there in the evening. The beds were not too soft, just perfect for us. All in all, we had a nice stay with a good price.

The sheets could have been newer.

The breakfast had few choices but we found everything we needed for a cosy breakfast. The tram stop was just across the hotel and you can travel to Amsterdam Centraal, Dam, and Museumplein (T2). The bus stop from Schiphol Airport by 397 is also 5 minutes away. The rooms are small but enough for a comfortable night after a full day out. The candies on the bowl for free were super... The backyard was so relaxing.

We were asked if we would change rooms to accommodate a guest with mobility difficulties, which was not a problem for us, however the room we were given wasn’t that clean, the floors were dirty and sticky and we were only given two hand towels the first night and after returning to our room the following day, only one bath towel was left for us to use. There was an abundant amount of towels in our first room but having said that, don’t they to shower early in the morning as the water is freezing and when it was hot it was temperamental.

I should have done some more research into this hotel. Its an hours walk away from the station, 40 minutes away from anything you might want to see. The room was tiny, we had to side walk round the bed to get anywhere else. And we had the superior double room.They do have a kettle in there but if you're coffee drinkers you have to buy the coffee from downstairs. Which for the money to stay here I think is naughty. We literally used the hotel as a sleeping base so wish I had found a cheaper one, but overall had a great 4 days in the beautiful Amsterdam.

It's in a very peaceful area of Amsterdam. A 2 minute walk up the road is a lovely bar called Judes and 5 minutes down is Le Petite George which was great too.

It was too noisy. Other guests screamed uncontrollably, but nobody stopped them. Walls of the hotel very thin.

It was nice, that hotel is in old historical building with his atmosphere. The location is perfect: near bus station from airport (bus N.397); direct direction to the most popular museums; hotel has bicycle rent. The staff was very helpful.

Historic Amsterdam building. Narrow steep staircase. You have to carry your belongings yourself. Not easy for everybody.

It is a small hotel set in one of the beautiful old buildings of Amsterdam. Found the staff very pleasant. It's intimate. The room was small but comfortable. Bed is very comfortable.

Fantastic room with a balcony. Apart from the rather challengingly steep staircase, our first floor room surpassed our expectations in every aspect. The hotel is on a main road which makes for easy access to the public transport system which is amazing too. However due the majority of passing vehicles being bicycles there was no noise to worry about. Also conveniently situated near to the stunning Vondelpark. Highly recommended!
