FinlandI personally did not like the prominent artificial (flower ?) scent in the room. However, there could nothing be done to get rid of it.
Friendly staff. Check- in and - out was smooth without queuing. Check- in and- out times were generous compared to many other hotels. The location next to the train station was a great plus to visit Amsterdam. Great surroundings for walking and biking. We had a room at the back-side and did not hear the trains passing by .

Germanybooking.com confusion, too many emails, and not good communication between venues and .com service I book an double room, canceled on time, or at least made many attempts. rebooked a single room, as requested . When I arrived, I had two rooms. The Manager kindly took care of everything to my satisfaction but the time I spend on the phone and email prior to arrival make me frustrated to arrive and it looked as thought it was all in vain. I am done with booking.com

NetherlandsThe rooms and the facility are showing their age a bit, very small desks & a tiny extra chair, and some will not like the single beds (they were fine for us, but not for everyone).
It was very convenient for us to stay while there were some renovations being done to our house. It is very convenient to the train station, and is in a super quiet corner of the neighborhood (because the neighbors are all deceased, i.e., the hotel is next to a cemetery). Lots of parking in the P+R lot adjacent. Helpful staff.
