Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIts a bit off the beaten track hence you would only use the hotel facilities. We used public transport to see the area and there is work going on nearby which affected our plans.
Had everything we needed. The room was comfy and well stocked. Food on offer was good. Breakfast was amazing. Theres a gym and pool too.

United States of AmericaHotel lobby support was not around to ask questions.. Bike rentals offer 24 hour rentals but then if bike at property the app/system is programmed to END the trip.. when in fact we wanted it for 24 hours to be able to come and go.. we had to 'lock' the bike at the road and hand carry bike to hotel to fake out the app. Cost was extremely expensive for what it was..
Had free parking, Had on site bike rentals, Was close to Flower parade locations

FranceWe wanted a coffee in the morning, but the only alternative is to buy a breakfast ,so that make a coffee much expensive ( you have sticks with coffee in the room,if you can drink the soluble coffee) Because of the road works, we are deviated by the GPS on the narrow road, it was so stressful to cross a van . The hotel made signal deviation but we didn't find them.
The hotel is so spacious, it has a large pool, the food in lunch was delicious, also the ginger tea and the fresh mint tea. Very tasty the free beverages in the lobby It was a very good idea to have a little food shop in the lobby but like all the hotels is so expensive. The shop market in vicinity is a good alternative.

United KingdomIts a little bit out of the way, but we visited for the tulips so its perfectly located for tulip season
Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff and great facilities. The bed was very comfortable and the bath in the room was greatly appreciated after lots of walking but there is also a shower for anyone who prefers that option.

FranceThe facility is huge and despite the signs it was difficult to find my way to the room from the lobby. The room was perfectly clean but the staff forgot all towels. I had to order them though room service which was very reactive and brought an awful lot despite only asking for 1 of each as I was alone (I ended up with 3 to 4 of each size)
The location was great and allowed to go see some flower fields right by the hotel complex and on the road leading to it. The room was big and the bed was comfortable but I didn't get the chance to get a field view through the window. The staff was very helpful and lovely. The room service was very efficient even at night, and I got all my requests answered within minutes! All wellness facilities were free to use with my booking (swimming pool, spa, fitness room).

United KingdomNo heat control in the room but we could open the window. Bathroom a little short of shelf space. Only one tiny bin in the bathroom. None in the main room. Not a lot really.
Location was great for Keukenhof and the surrounding fields were wonderful, full of tulips. Free parking although the spaces were tight. There was always a space available though. Good sized room and good bathroom.

United KingdomI thought the bowling alley could be updated. A limited number of balls with only the 10s having bigger finger holes so my son struggled with the tiny finger holes on the lighter balls. Also the breakfast was crazily expensive, over 21€ per person, so not worth it in any way with my daughter probably only wanting a couple of slices of toast. Food available in the lobby was very overpriced too, comparable to airport catering. Given the cost of the rooms it seemed excessive.
Nice location near tulip fields and plenty of facilities with table tennis, table football, air hockey, pool table, swimming pool, gym

United KingdomThe beds and pillows are like sleeping in a camping sleep bag, really uncomfortable. The building is visually tired (windows, air con system, bathrooms, etc), but still functional to some extent. The 4 star rating seemed a bit of a stretch…
Location is good, surrounded by tulip farms and woods in a small town. Restaurant is ok if you want to dine in the hotel (but portions are small and a bit overpriced). Parking in the hotel is handy.

GermanyRoom noise insulation not nice. I could hear it very loudly when the upstairs room flushed. Any conversation of guests in the hallway and a very squaky hinge of some close room could also be heard. All this in the middle of the night.
Very nice location, close to Keukenhof, to the flower crops, and to the beach. Free parking area with covered option, and e-bike rental facilities. Nice swimming pool. Value for money.

GermanyThe room was clean in general but the toilet wasn't flushing all the way. It wasn't flushing from the front. I think it was set like that to save water which is fine. But it wasn't very convenient. We didn't complain to the staff otherwise maybe they would have done something about it.
Location: Excellent. Tulip fields across the street from the hotel. Keukenhof is around 10km from the hotel. Staff: Polite and hospitable Room: had all basic amenities

United KingdomThe hotel looks like it has been updated, and is pretty beautiful. However, I think the rooms need a bit of a make-over. Ours was quite old fashioned and had a fair bit of mold in the windows. It wasn't awful, and we spent a lot of time in the room, but it was the one thing we identified as needing a little improvement.
We really liked the entertainment facilities on site. This included a bouncy castle, lots of wooden games and a kids room. There was also bowling, pinball, table tennis and air hockey on site. The breakfast was also excellent and had a huge variety of foods available. My son was also given a kids box when he arrived, with snacks and an activity book.

GermanySuperior Plus room is not available just when you want to book online, just if the hotline is calling the reception an they manage for you. Dinner options need more improvement, the waitress was not able to clarify what kind of soup do we eat, moreover we have ordered the same soup like previous day. Vegetarian and vegan options are poor, and side dish is only french fries.
So many things have happened with us, but just to leave some good remarks here: Superior Plus room is perfect, the normal superior is really small (mainly for more than 5 days), perfect view to the tulip fields. Beds are comfortable, room was clean. Breakfast options are really wide ranged, gm free, LM free and vegan options are available. Spa/Wellness: mainly sauna and relax area is well equipped and modern, clean. Fitness has most of all what you need for a proper day start. Helpful stuff, but I think due to New Years they were under pressure, might be more employees are needed for the high peak of the season.
