“this was the cleanest place where we have been in Isan (we travelled for 1 month in this region).
it was really comfortable, with a certain attention for details. I can only recommend it”
“There is a recention with only one star, the writer does not tell his reason. But this place, although not luxurious, is a very nice place to stay. Therefore, I do not understand why one can give this place such a bad recention:
This place is located about 150m from the shores of Mekong river in a very quiet neighbourhood. The next restaurants are just about 120m, the next shops about 250m (7/11 and Lotus) away. The centre of Nakhon Phanom with Naga Monument and Landmark Hotel is about 1.2km or 0.75mi.
It is a whole house with a parking lot for two cars plus a big roofed patio with a massive wooden table and four massive stools to sit outside in the shade in front of the house. And there are two more seats hanging down from the ceiling. Last not least: two bicycles looking brand new with Japanese characters printed on them; thus, I assume that they were produced in Japan.
After entering the house, there is a spacious sitting room, I guess about 30sqm. The sitting room is furnished with a dinning table plus four chairs and a sitting group facing a big wall hanging TV consisting of a sofa with a low table and two arm chairs; the sofa and the two arm chairs are covered with leather and do look brand new. There also is a high counter (like a bar) with two barstools, a refridgerator, and a hot water pot. But there is no air conditioner nor any fans in the sittingroom.
Behind the sittingroom, on the right hand side, there is the first, a well kept bathroom (shower, toilet and sink, about 2m x 2m) with a new water heater and a new shower head.
Straight ahead of the sitting room, there is a kitchen, sized at about 25sqm (approx. 3.5m x 7m), that is just "Wow !": there is a huge kitchen counter with a sink, a dry stand, a microwave, a toaster, a mixer and a shelf with a rice cooker, a hot pot and many cups, glasses, dishes, bowls, cuttlery, etc. On the wall, there are two dry pans and a few kitchen gadgets hanging.”
“The rooms were clean ,there was a balcony, tea ,coffee, cookies and water for refilling bottle was available in the lobby . Cycles available ,have to pay a small amount, 2 min from river front . Best part was check in at 8 am , very convenient if come on an overnight bus”
