Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

If compared to those international chain hotels, also price-wise, the room could have been a bit more advanced. For example, with a universal socket or aircon that you guests can regulate (aircon is automatic in this hotel, so you can't adjust it yourself)
Compared to hotels nearby, especially those that go towards Kata beach, it is well-located, almost direct access to the sea. But what "beachfront" means in some other cases (like you step out of the hotel and the beach is right there), the concept at Karon Beach is different, you still need to cross the road. Overall, maybe a couple minutes to reach the beach itself. It is located on the border between Karon and Kata, so there is a pleasant long stroll you can take to explore little cafes at Kata. The staff is helpful and kind. The hotel is of a Thai style, not your international chain kind, which is pleasant. Hotel got a hose to rinse off sand from the feet after the beach - essential. Eye candy of a sea view (for rooms with a sea view), but there is some building in front, so you won't see the beach, just the sea. Quiet area, especially off season.

The location is just a 1 minute walk to the beach, it’s close to shops, and it’s really clean, quiet, and peaceful.

everything was perfect
we had an amazing time while staying here! everything was perfect. staff is friendly, welcoming and always ready to help. the room was cleaned every single day, towels were changed also every day. we loved that. It was a very nice touch when we check in, the staff turned on the AC before our arrival, it was fresh in the room when we came in. the hotel provides with shampoo, shower gel, soap, 1 bottle of water per person every day. there’s a swimming pool and restaurant on the first floor. the restaurant offers 15% discount for people who stay at the hotel. the food was good, drinks are good too. Karon beach is located in 1 minute walk from the hotel. there’re some supermarkets and souvenir shops near by. I highly recommend to stay here! 10/10

The hotel restaurant food was blend so go elsewhere if you want real Thai food. :)
Our room was extremely clean, the beds very comfortable, the staff amazingly friendly. The hotel is just 2min walk from the Karon beach, which is smallish but lovely. Highly recommended it to solo travellers, groups or families.

Baan Sailom is a great hotel in Karon Beach and we very much enjoyed our 7 night stay (for the Phuket Sandbox program). The hotel is clean, comfortable, and a great value. Many of the areas (like the pool) have been upgraded and are even nicer than the photos. Location next to the beach was perfect! The restaurant was not open yet during our stay but the renovations looked beautiful and we would highly recommend booking here!

Elevator was not working. Restaurant was closed so no breakfast. although there was a little place just up and across the road that had great food. and coffee called Sandwich Box. We ate there every day for breakfast or lunch or snack.
View from the top floor was great. Pool clean and convenient. Staff people were very sweet and accommodating. Excellent location for the beach and traveling around.
