Location was on a hill so sometimes was difficult to get taxis to come up all the way (but not a big deal ultimately. Rooms were a bit old, and the bathroom was an all in one room with no separate shower.

It was clean, had everything I needed for a 6 night stay. Staff were friendly. Beach towels were provided and came in very useful as the property was located quite close to the beach. Room was spacious.

The only minuses of this hotel are the shower room and the poor lighting in the rooms. The shower is in the same room as the toilet and is not separated by anything, because of this the toilet and toilet paper becomes wet after the shower The elevation that everyone complains about did not bother me.

Everything about this hotel is great! From the staff to the location. The receptionist Chanok is a nice and understanding woman, always helpful ! And the other staff was very nice Breakfasts in the hotel although not included, but to order portions are huge and delicious !

Bedsheets could have been cleaned a little beter. But not a huge issue.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating with my requests and kind in general. The rooms themselves were quite large and nicely decorated.

Just a warning that the hotel is up a very steep hill. It could be a problem for some people with mobility issues etc. There was only one issue-- on the first day we used our white towels and hung them outside, but due to the monsoon rain they didn't dry. Reception wouldn't make an exception to the 'new towel every other day' rule even when we explained why we had no useable towels. I am in favour of usually limiting towels to when they are needed only, for the environment, but in this case they were needed.

The hotel is nice, room size was good, beds were comfy and the pillows smelled nice and fresh. There is a sweet little pool at reception. The location is good for Kata Beach, walkable to the market and bars/restaurants, beach. It is easy to get the bus there from BKK airport and back. There is a reasonably priced mini bar and snacks provided if you find yourself caught short.

They could take a little bit more care of the pool area.

Staff really nice and helpful we upgraded to the sea view room and it was really nice. Clean and comfortable. Wifi working perfectly. Great value for what you pay.

The receptionist seemed bored and uninterested on our arrival. It was only after we complained about our room (we booked twin and were given double) and asked to speak to the manager that she changed her attitude. After that, she was very nice, friendly and helpful. On the last two days of our stay the aircon leaked on the terrace so we could only use half of it as the floor was wet and slippery but it wasn't that bad to put us off returning. The swimming pool wasn't looked after and was closed until 9am, would have welcomed to have a dip in clean pool early in the morning.

Great location, only 5 minutes to the beach and very close to the town centre. We could also see Big Buddha from the room and it was very close to get to it by the tuk tuk. The manager went above and beyond to give us room we originally booked (twin) after we were put in double at the check-in. The room was cleaned daily and the hotel offered 10% off at a local restaurant on our first night. The beds were very comfortable.

Bit of a steep hill to reach the property on foot.

This was an excellent choice for a budget hotel. The staff were very helpful in facilitating an earlier than standard check in and luggage storage. The view from the deluxe double room with both sea and pool views was great. I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service.

The view from the balcony was not outstanding, although we paid extra for the room with the sea view. We could not enjoy the balcony as much as we dreamed of since some uninvited bugs wanted to spend the night at our balcony. To be fair, it is not very surprising or the fault of hotel management since it is an island and you should expect such friends if you keep your window open or have a balcony like us. Facilities were also old or not very well maintained, but everything worked as it was supposed to.

Didn't get to use the upstairs pool - but then again, our stay was too short to even ask about it.

We loved the location and the seaview. Even got to do some birdwatching from the balcony! The room is spacious and well cleaned, and the personnel is very friendly. The road uphill, by the way, is really not as bad as we were expecting after reading the reviews. It's a short one, and Kata beach is right around the corner.
