Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomDown side, the bathroom has a weird smell (at least the one in our room). However, huge shower and shampoo, shower gel, body lotion and hairdryer are provided.
The resort is amazing! The staff was friendly, the room is clean, the location is fantastic, very scenic! We spent two relaxing days in Koh Phi Phi and we have done the private king tail boat PhiPhi islands tour provided by the resort. They provide everyone with beach towels as well. Breakfast was excellent with vast choice! We also dined there at the restaurant both evenings and we had a very good experience. We read few reviews were people were mentioning about being a bit pricey but we dosing find much difference with other places in Thailand. The resort in on a hill so it can be a bit challenging to reach your room after a breakfast buffet but you can always ask them to give you a lift with their tuk tuk! We enjoyed our stay!

South AfricaThe railings of some cottages desperately need some paint. The aircon was quite loud, and I struggled to sleep with it on. The same goes for the mini fridge. We walked the coastal road to town, a total of 2.5km. We didn't mind the walk. However, there is one section through the 'jungle' that needs a proper path as the existing path is eroded and slippery.
The resort is in a quieter area of the island. Everything you need is at the resort, a restaurant, a bar and a little shop. The restaurant has a happy hour cocktail promo for 120 Baht from 4-6pm. We enjoyed the free fireshow. There is also a reasonably priced Thai restaurant next to the resort if you don't want to eat at the resort restaurant. Various mini supermarkets within walking distance. Nice big room with a huge shower.

United States of AmericaOur room was the highest row up, which meant that it took a good bit of effort to climb all of the stairs up there. I did not dislike this myself, but if you are unable to climb many stairs I would recommend asking the property to put you in a lower room. They do have plenty, so I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem! They do have trucks to take you to your room upon check in, so if you don't plan to leave much then it may not be much of an issue.
Upon arrival to the pier at Koh Phi Phi Don, the staff doing the resort transport were dressed in yellow shirts, which really stood out and were easy to find. It seemed a little overwhelming when getting off the boat and looking for them, but the yellow really stands out among all the other resorts. They also gave us umbrellas while we were standing out in the sun waiting for the longtail. I absolutely loved the room and the view. We were on the highest row, so it was definitely a hike to get up there, but so so worth it! There is a really good restaurant right on the beach and the staff everywhere was extremely friendly. The beds were very comfortable as well. We did order room service, and it came very quickly. Overall, the property is well worth the price and effort to get there.

NetherlandsGreat hotel with beautifull villas which have an amazing view on the ocean. Breakfast was good. Enough beds to lay at the beach, clean. Food at night was good. Though we enjoyed our stay here very much it is good to know that the walk to the villas can be quit steep. So if you have trouble walking it is good to consider this. For us it wasn't a problem.

Belgium- Not sure why you need to enter user/pass for the WiFi each time, there are better solutions nowadays that remember the device ID.. - Restaurant/bar of the hotel were mediocre and expensive compared to other places within a 5min walk - The rooms are a pretty steep climb up (ours was a 5-10min walk from the reception), but you can always ask for a ride in the jeep to go up - No cushions on the sunbeds The hotel is extremely environmentally unfriendly, see below: - Towels are replaced daily, even while they have a note saying they only would replace towels that are placed on the floor. To make it worse, every day they deliver the new towels in a plastic bag. I really hope these plastic bags are reused but highly doubt it - Plastic/trash on the beach… very common in Thailand and the hotel staff either doesn’t care anymore or just gave up cleaning it - Airco is left on by the cleaning staff after cleaning the room and may run for hours for nothing - Instead of providing 2 daily plastic water bottles, they should just provide them once at check in and have a refilling station
- Stunning beach, where you can see fish swimming every day - Price/quality wise it was perfect - Boat to main pier included at check in and checkout (otherwise 100 baht pp or 150 baht after 18h30) - You can walk to the town, it is about 40 minutes with a pretty ok indicated path next to the shoreline - Breakfast was good with a lot of options - They take good care of the plants around the area - More than enough sunbeds available at the beach - Fireshow was nice, but once every 2-3 days would be enough instead of daily - More quiet than the city center for sure, tho it still has quite a bit of noise from the longtail boats - Daily free minibar filled with 2x cola 2x fanta and 2x water - There around some monkeys hanging around :)

IndiaSome of the staff were somewhat borderline rude or do not much care.
Phi phi the beach resort is a village in itself. The first thing you should know is that it is not accessible from land. You have to take a long tail boat taxi from tonsai pier but that is not at all an issue. There are good number of boat taxis available to and fro. Even the resort provides free boats on check-in and check-out. Coming to the resort, every room is a villament type with a balcony and amazing views if you have a sea facing room. They have a fire show happening every evening. There restaurant is also good. The best part the private beach in which you can just enjoy the serene sunsets. It is definitely worth it.

Perfect location with epic views over the beach, sea and shark point! Super, friendly and efficient staff. Lovely traditional style bungalow with wooden interiors and large ’open air’ en-suite shower room. We dined in the beach restaurant a couple of times and the food was great with lots of choices. We took a boat trip too, tour operator suggested by hotel and with pick up on the beach outside the hotel. We spent a very enjoyable, relaxing three days here and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ko Phi Phi. They also offer a free pick up/drop up/drop off long boat service between the hotel and Tonsai pier on arrival and departure. I forgot to mention the lovely snorkelling right off the beach outside the hotel. Loved every minute!

DenmarkOur first room (410, booked via another service) was very run down, with a smell of sewage in the bathroom. The second room (310) was better, but the shower head was broken. It seems that preventive maintenance isn’t performed (at least in high season). Shark Point brings a lot of day-trippers on longtails, so it can get quite crowded.
The views from the huts can be great, but you should be aware that the climb is STEEP if you decide to walk yourself from the beach area (5-10 min max). The reef (Shark Point) is quite nice at high tide, but bring reef shoes if you want to go out in low tide! Long Beach is great. Walk further down at low tide.

United States of AmericaThere are few food options on this area of the island and the shuttle offered by the hotel makes it difficult to get to and from the town. The bed was very uncomfortable, both the mattress and the pillows are extremely firm, not at all what I expected to find at this hotel.

United KingdomOne issue to consider is location!! It is located pretty far out and phiphi is a walking town so if you're interested in being isolated from the island then stay if not it may not be suitable. We walked 45m down dark roads to reach the viewpoint wasn't the most pleasant walk.
Super!

AustraliaNothing about the staff or resort itself. Obviously it is a resort on the quiet side of the island so if you want to go into town you need to catch a longboat but we loved this and they’re easy to get.
The villa was beautiful, metres from the beach, clean and air conditioned. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and made everything really easy. Such a relaxing holiday would highly recommend.

ItalyPlease be aware that you need to be prepared to co-live with wildlife in this resort, especially with lizards that are constantly present in the room and they even make noise at night. We had also the pleasure to be visited by a little snake on the tree of our terrace, however it looks like these are very common in Thailand and are harmless to humans.
- The relaxed atmosphere - The very attentive and smiley staff. I think the staff is very hardworking, as they work from morning for breakfast until the evening for dinner and to tidy the beach and sun beds for the following day. Also, they run up and down the hill with the tuk- tuk to bring guests to their room and to deliver luggages, always with a smile. So I don’t understand previous reviews, where people said that the staff is rude?!?! - The beach was clean, organised and perfect for snorkelling. - Breakfast was ok, we liked the food at the restaurant too even if a bit pricey. - We booked the honeymoon room and we had a stunning view, as shown in the picture.
