Everything was good, as I mentioned, two full-sized suitcases would make the room tight, but it is manageable. The location and cleanliness easily offset that potential issue.

We went with our family and were in two rooms with only carry-ons. Yes, the rooms are small, but it is in old-town Istanbul where this is too be expected. It would be tight with two full-sized suitcases but definitely manageable. You have to decide if being less than a 5 minute walk from the square with the Haggai Sophia and the Blue Mosque is worth a few extra square centimeters. The hotel was clean, they mopped our room every day, and the staff was super friendly. The breakfast was good, too. The only potential issue I could see is if you want a spacious room, otherwise I highly recommend this hotel. There is also a paid parking lot across the street.

The room was on the smaller side which could be a problem if you wanted to spend a long time there or much time in the room which we didn’t.

Staff was very friendly, not all of them spoke English ( only the receptionist to be honest) but they were generally quite nice. We’ve even got a room upgrade for free and some Delicious Turkish delight as a good bye gift :)

Hot water only early in the morning and late at night due to lack of water heater capacity for the number of rooms. Internet slow in evenings (seems to be common in Türkiye in our experience), but could have been because we were on the top floor. Expect traffic noise, including honking due to location.

There was no hot water in the shower for a short while but it was quickly fixed.

Everything was great! The staff was very helpful: we were offered a room upgrade, tickets to a boat trip, umbrellas when it was raining, also they made fresh Turkish coffee every morning and booked us a cab to the airport at the end of our stay. The room was very clean and spacious. The location is just perfect, right in the historic city center, about 7 minute walk to Hagia Sophia.

From vera hotel you can easy going to sights of old town ayia sofia blue mosk furthermore is only five minutes you can find vosboros 2 many restaurants around grand bazaar so close you can use t1 tram and the metro station sirkesi is five minutes. the room was very cheap and ok and the breakfast very nice.

I was pleasantly surprised with the big variety of fresh breakfast and with the fact that we were provided with clean towels every single day. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially the girl named Neftune who was serving breakfast every day! Even though the neighbourhood has been evolved dramatically in a touristic aspect which I found quite unpleasant, the hotel has a great location, because it's pretty close to the greatest historical monuments of Istanbul which you can reach out by foot in nearly 6 minutes. However, I would suggest to the ownership to not push the personnel any further by putting them in position of asking the clients for a written review in Booking. Keeping the service at same excellent level and having a happy clientele is enough for you to know that your stuff is already doing its best !

Small room and average bed.

The location, service, and breakfast were all fantastic. Room size was average and on the small side of things. The duty Manager Farouk was exceptional. He couldn't do enough for us and his help, advice, and suggestions were much appreciated. Highly recommend this accommodation and definitely go there again.
