The room downstairs was a bit humid.

I have booked two rooms in that hotel for me and my friend. We both have founds a hotel very comfortable for spending our vacation in Turkey. The breakfast selection is decent and the view is exceptional. The main sightseeing locations are in walking distance. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Sound isolation between the room is poor. I have ear plugs thus was not critical for me.

The location is great, and the main sightseeing points in walking distance. Breakfast has a fair selection, but who cares what is breakfast when you have an amazing sea view? Water, coffee and tea are available 24 hours. The personal is very helpful and kind.

Breakfast is not very varied

Everything was wonderful. Good location, terrace with breakfast overlooking the sea. Breakfast is not very varied, but it was enough for me. Close to the main attractions in the historical center. There are quiet streets nearby with cafes and restaurants where there is no hand-pulling; people preferred to have lunch and dinner close to the hotel, away from the bustle of the center. Very friendly and helpful staff. We liked everything very much, we will happily stay at this hotel again

The room was slightly hot during the night and the AC didn’t work that well.

The location is very convenient, a lovely area and an easy walk to the main attractions. Room is very nice and a good sea view. Breakfast is superb: 10/10. Extremely helpful staff.

The hotel was on good location,10 min walk to Aya Sofia and Blue mosque. It was very clean,we have our room clean every day. Breakfast was amazing with variety of food and there was free coffee and tea throughout all day that we can take. Stuff are super helpful,they explained us how to go through city and we book taxi with them and boat tour.

Not a dealbreaker for us, but we stayed there for 5 days and the breakfast spread stayed consistent, which can be monotonous. It’s an impressive breakfast that is included in the stay, so can’t complain. It fueled us for the long days.

Great location. 10-15 minutes walk to all the major sites in Sultanamet. Hotel is well-maintained, and one of the few boutique hotels in the area that have an elevator which was helpful with luggage. Terrace has a lovely view to the Sea of Marmara, where one can enjoy their elaborate breakfast spreads. Rooms are on the slightly smaller side but that’s with all the boutique hotels in the area, and add to the charm of staying in this historic city. Despite it not being a large room, it felt spacious enough with plenty of lighting and details in the room. Bathrooms and rooms have been renovated so it feels very clean and well-maintained. The concierge is available 24/7 to assist you with anything you may need, including booking us tickets to activities and airport transfer.

This is our first time visiting Istanbul, and we were very satisfied with the Saruhan Hotel. We even adjusted our plan and stayed for an extra two days. The manager and other staff were very patient and helped us answer various questions. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooftop terrace view was amazing. The entire hotel decoration was very tasteful. I love this hotel, and next time I come to Istanbul, I would like to stay at this hotel.

The Saruhan Hotel in Istanbul was perfect in every way! We were completely satisfied with the level of comfort provided and the spacious and beautiful rooms we stayed in. Breakfast was delicious with a generous variety of options to suit all tastes. Although all the rooms were nice, the sea view ones were really great. The hotel is located close to the city's main points of interest, which made exploring much easier and more convenient. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and always prompt in helping us when we had requests or questions. I highly recommend Hotel Saruhan and will definitely be back here in the future!

One thing can be disturbing. If your room is on the top floor, just under the rooftoop, where they serve breakfast, you can be disturbed by the noises from 6.15am, when they start preparing it. The insulation of the rooms are not very good.

It is a very good, friendly small hotel not far from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The breakfast is really good and the staff is very kind and flexible.

Front rooms are a bit noisy sometimes.

Breakfast was excellent, good choice of fruits, bread, scrambled eggs, sausage, boiled eggs,ham, cheese, dry fruits, fresh homemade cakes… it was nice to go on the terrace at any time of the day to have a free coffee and tea. It’s well located for lots of visits in the area.
