location, staff: Mazahir was so helpful and friendly. we had to make final moment adjustments such as adding another night and he was very accommodating in terms of payment and preparation. The room was spacious with only one bathroom. It’s good value for money. Ask Mazahir about the best places to eat, bars to go to, and excursions such as Safaris in both Zanzibar and DAR. cheers

I honestly believe it was a good accommodation based on what we saw in the city. It is definitely very close to the ferryboat which is what we wanted and the room was clean, was similar with the photo and we had all conditions. The reason for my mixed feelings is as follows: - Compared with the other 3 accommodations we had on the island, this one was the least appealing; - We stayed at the 7th floor. You get to see the city from there and it is definitely not an European city – see the photo - We were very close to a mosque and we had an interesting wake-up call at 5:30 AM for prayer (it is their religion and we do not judge, it was just surprising to me as I had no knowledge of this) - Right at the entry, similar to an apartment building (not in the best neighborhood) we had the front door and then a big iron door that probably was well closed during the night. Reception was even on the 7th floor and not on ground floor as you would have expected, to have an inviting check-in. - The last mention I will make: Due to covid, they had most facilities closed and we could only order food from outside and eat in the room as restaurant was closed. This was a bit strange as everything else, outside was opened however we accepted it as part of Covid preventions. However, on the information file received, before the reception number, before the wi-fi, before anything, we had an emergency phone number and hospital details. Nothing happened and if you think about it is good information, however, as first impression it gave us mixed feelings. PS: This was our experience and feeling, based on city/location, previous experience, etc. That does not mean that you might feel the same and that is ok 😊.

United States of AmericaThe only problem I have is this Guest, Visitor policy. Where managment will regulate who can come and go out of the room, that you just paid for with your own money, as if their your parents. I was extremely taken back by this.
You are greeted with sincere smiles by a most helpful staff once you have arrived. The check-in is fast and to the point. I recommend the the Two- Bed Apartment it is well well worth it. For 80 bucks, it's a Go!

I was not sure what to expect, was even worried that I may have made a big mistake because there is no restaurant and a notice in the room said that laundry was not available. However, the room was very comfortable, it was large with a very nice bathroom and excellent walk-in shower. There were ample power socket and a small table for working or eating at. Meals were easily ordered in plus there are restaurants nearby just as long as you like either Swahili or Indian food. Laundry was easily arranged through the hotel so there was no issues there. Management were always extremely helpful.

United States of AmericaThere is a large kitchen but it wasn’t really set to be used unless you bring in your own thing. for example, there were two mugs in a three bedroom apartment so we had to share for our coffee. Also note that breakfast is not included even though it was listed on the booking. Perhaps a few details have changed over time.
