WiFi was a little slow in my room and daily room cleaning needed to be booked every day for the day after at reception, if desired

Great location along Mass Ave. 10-13 min walk to either David Square or Porter on the red line. Super gentle staff. Free coffee and drinks available at all times. Room was decently spacious

The shower could have had more pressure. It just didn't do the job.

We were very close to mass transit. The market across the street was great. Coffee was very good!

Offer breakfast and no hot shower. The price was totally inflated, marathon or not. I did not have one hot shower - the plumbing is so old it was always lukewarm.

I wish there had been a breakfast - it being a B & B, after all. It should be recategorized as just a “B” or “B & no B”. The room itself was comfortable and the building beautiful. It was quiet for the most part. Good location. A nice general store across the street.

There was no breakfast available but rates include breakfast so I was disappointed. I had an early morning in departure date, 7 am, so I wasn’t able to buy breakfast at the supermarket across the street. The shower didn’t have any bottom and no bathtub mat, I was afraid of getting fungus or slipping while I am pregnant. The entire bathroom flooded. It takes a longer time to get to central areas. No slippers available and the carpet and chair were dirty.

The rooms were cozy and entry was easy. 10 minute walk to the train. Supermarket across the street. Restaurants near the train station

bathroom sink was leaking water from the faucet. heating unit in bathroom does not work. room needs more light. very dark.

room was spacious and clean. great location, especially with Pemberton Farms across the street. I got breakfast and gifts there. tremendous asset for this property.

There was a mouse in our room. The room was clean and we know it happens in old buildings. But. Still.

We had zero communication after the note giving us instructions for late check in. There was no printed information in the room regarding how to get help or if there was breakfast. We saw one housekeeper in the hall. No one else. If there was breakfast, We were not informed on the booking site or in the room.

Beautiful Victorian setting! Quiet! Free parking! 1.5 mile walk into Harvard Square, with plenty to see along the way. Also, close to Davis Square.

With affordability in an area like this you give up a few comforts, so no elevator, no microwave in the room (but there was a fridge), shower controls were a little confusing, and furniture, etc. were a little dated. These are minor issues, and certainly not a deal breaker.

The location, free parking and price are excellent. My room was comfortable, and the owners were very helpful and friendly. Easy walk to restaurants (great area for food) and to public transport. I would stay here again.

Just one issue - unable to regulate temp- upstairs room extremely warm, difficult to sleep, so left window open although temps in teens. My understanding is that there is only one thermostat in building.

There was a leak in the bathroom ceiling fan unit, it would drip water droplets on the floor or hit you while sitting on toilet. The bathroom sink faucet needed an o ring as water would leak out on the sides quite heavy if faucet was turned on a little bit. However, when faucet was turned on full blast, it didn’t leak as much.

It was a comfortable & clean room. It was the perfect location for us as we were attending the Boston Celtic Music Festival with three venues in Davis Sq. Coffee available in their nice dining room, a market across the street for breakfast items or snacks.

The noise of footsteps and conversations in my room from guests upstairs woke me up and kept me up during the night

Noise from the room above. We could clearly hear them and their foot steps. Noisy dripping during rain like their was a roof leak. Room was dimly lit and had a musty smell.

Location, coffee, room size, refrigerator, nice and warm. Close to Davis square and had Pemberton store across the street.
