Decor - room and outside area of the room looked a little dated. Everything was within functioning order, but it looks like it needs a refresh

Room size - for a party of 6 was perfect. We stayed in the two bedroom, two bathroom suite. Parking - the garage under the Inn was perfect, even for our large SUV rental Location - within EASY walking distance to everything in town Cleanliness - the room was so clean

Such a nice little inn . . centrally located, comfortable & well-appointed. Building is a little dated but they've worked hard to update with nice furnishings, linens & room amenities. We would happily stay there again!! Staff so friendly & helpful!

The smell of chemicals used to clean the sheet.

In the center of Carmel, close to everything, Free parking, the rooms are spacious and , overall it is very good value for money. I would come again to this hotel.

I can’t think of anything

The room and bathroom were spacious and we loved the gas fireplace. We were just a couple of blocks away from Ocean street and lots of shops and restaurants. We even walked down to the beach. A couple of places we really liked were the Hogsbreath inn and Vesuvio’s rooftop bar.

Door lock didn’t work properly. Could t understand the thermostat.

Sergio, at the front desk was the best. Provided great service and was professional and helpful. The location was great. Views were amazing.

It was like walking into 1988 ! For a owner to have such a great location and not elevate its property decor and renovate to keep up with basic needs such as security - towels - furniture gives you all you need to know about where ownership stands ….profit before people! Its 2023 and we checked in and was givin a standard key like the ones you use for backyard sheds ! Keep your valubles with you.

Location was best part .everything else was substandard . Door key was shady - bring your own bathtowels ! Heating system from 1950’s . Bring slippers to walk in room .

There was nothing that I didn’t like, everything was honestly great! Even the parking garage that was underground had plenty of room for my big car!!!

The property was very nice! We upgraded our room to a 2 bedroom and it was great cause all 3 of us got our own bed. Staff was very friendly, asked where I traveled from and it was just an overall great experience! I would definitely consider staying here again!

The outside and grounds of this property are in need of a fresh coat of paint and minor repairs. Noticeable signs of wear and tear of paint, wood siding, wooden handrails and other wood features. Otherwise, basic features of this hotel are OK and did not impact our stay.

Location of this hotel is great - close to downtown shops. Their underground parking is a huge PLUS for a Carmel hotel given that parking is such a challenge in this town. Room was clean and spacious with a view of the ocean from select rooms. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Will stay here again.

It was so outdated. Old stained rugs. I didn’t get room I booked. Chair was broken. Lot of rotted wood around property and is a safety issue. Elevator has 4 year old inspection notice. Has not been updated.

That it was close to things to walk too. Could see ocean from balcony. Room was good size. Garden outside was nice and pool looked nice and small

Wish the rooms had a microwave. Also, AC would be helpful for the summer months.

We stayed here last year and requested the same room, which the hotel was able to accommodate. The suite is incredibly spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. The front desk employee was welcoming and helpful. We will return again.
