That the first day I took pictures off the room that was nasty I show them they told me somebody will come a clean it no one never came day two I ask no service at that point I was forget cause the vacation was almost over with

Long story short, Overcharged once I got there. Hotel manager was VERY rude. I called ahead of time for pricing info, once I arrived I was told that I had to pay an additional $400, for incidental fees which hasn't been refunded to me yet but promised to refunded right after check out.

Location and cleaning staff was the best thing about my stay.

For the location and price it could be better. The pool was dirty all time, not cleaned on the five days we were there, towels for the room and the beach were an issue, no privacy, we asked the staff to not enter to our room during our stay and still went inside while we were not there. Etc, etc, etc…

Front desk agent was some slow and unfriendly.. I was waiting for around 7 minutes to be attended and no another guest front me.

The pool, esp. the lounge area with the green artificial grass was horrible. My room had live and dead cockroaches on the floor, there were no face towels, and the door had to be forced closed.

The hotel smelled like mold and I had roaches in my room. When I went to let the office know they offered my a late checkout. Who wants a late checkout when they’re already uncomfortable with a room with roaches

Bedroom floor was gritty with sand and glitter. No window you can open and smelt a little like damp in room and hall (maybe it was the aircon). No in hotel luggage storage.

We had a massive leak in the window of our room. I cleaned majority of up before Maintenance could get there and the solution was just put towels down. They did not offer to switch us rooms at the time (10pm). Later that evening it was coming in more and I went to the front desk and the people working this time around were new for the shift. The very polite lady handed me over a new key and said "we were told about this and here is a new room for you". My complaint is why didnt we get switched at the first point of contact? It was later in the evening so they should have known if a room was available. By the time we got switched it was after midnight. Other than that, we had a very nice time. Just was a pain that late in the day to deal with.

Staff at check in was very courteous and polite. The servers at Taco Taco were great, very funny and interacted well. Bartenders were amazing, right out of the gate they were talkative and funny. No complaints at all about the food and food service. Night life is everywhere by the hotel which was so much fun. Beach a short walk away with clear water (3 min walk).

The rooms were not clean, my shower was not clean there was hair all over the shower floor, no hot water, shower handle broke off in my daughters room, there was a dip in the floor in room 3313 , and I had a big cockroach in my room. I had to buy my own wash cloths,That service was not great.

The beds we’re comfortable, the restaurant and staff, food was good. Bartender Chris was very pleasant and nice. The pool. The location. The manager of Maxine’s was very nice to us.
