Check is was bad this time. It's usually super fast. The girl mentioned they just redid the desks so maybe that was a factor, but it was not smooth.

Front desk wasn’t very helpful, rear door we were told to use wouldn’t open with key card, breakfast was mediocre, no gluten free options, hotel undergoing lots of renovations and room showed very poor workmanship

The front lobby needs repair, no towels for pool /hot tub, no coffee out, no extra towels, ironing board was missing , blow dryer didn’t work, no plastic bag for wet/dirty clothes. over all was disappointing knowing it was a Holiday Inn and was overpriced.

The bed was so incredibly firm I was hardly able to sleep. When traveling by car you need a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed. This hotel did not provide that.

Train runs right behind the hotel. Breakfast buffet was not kept supplied at a reasonable amount. Back entrance was not secure. I left my key in my room and when I went to the front desk to get a key they did not make me verify my identity or that I was a guest. Heating/air conditioning unit was EXTREMELY noisy so we shut it off. I have stayed at multiple holiday inn express and this property did not begin to meet expectations.

I hate booking.com, got stuck using it. Not once have you ever booked a room correctly over the years I’ve been stuck using you. Cost me money with no room, I’ve had to file fraudulent charges on you. I’ve even complained to the BBB. You suck, you’re like a software virus.

under renovation; looks like they used the cheapest contractor as there were lots of bad finishes in the rooms. worst thing was no one was at the desk Monday morning; breakfast area was dark; a housekeeper showed up and did her best to get things going but the front desk phone rang and rang and no one was there. the room cleanness spotty. we didn’t get a bathmat one day and no hand towels the next day.

The sink in the we bar was leaking and we were offered another room for the same price that wasn’t a suite or nearly as big. We paid WAY too much for the suite for what it actually was the value for money was definitely not there. Whenever we asked staff a question they did not know the answer and told us we’d have to call back after our stay was over when a manager was there.

The building lacked enough luggage carts. The only one available was rickety and disappeared altogether the morning a we left when we could have used it. Staff was responsive but not particularly friendly. Breakfast in a bag included, water, over ripe banana, snack bar and unidentifiable sweet soft tortilla roll up,

Shower didn’t work properly and had to call maintenance. For being an “hearing/wheelchair accessible” room it wasn’t set up well. Water spilled from shower onto a tile floor which made it slippery. Coffee maker was placed on top of a cabinet far out of reach for someone in a wheel chair. Room had a weird smell to it. For being a non smoking hotel I smelled cigarette smoke inside more than a few times.

Room was well cleaned and pool was comfortable. Staff was very helpful and nice.
