The couch and windows were in poor shape. They didn’t do good in the bathroom cleaning 1 day…. I complained and asked to be move to a room with nicer couch but was given sheets to cover woren out couch. Was told that all couches were the same throughout the hotel but would be getting new ones. Supposedly under renovation which customers should be told in advance. My rate increased from $87 to $92. This was extremely deceptive. I understand the taxes, fees but the flat room rate was $92; not $87 as you listed on this site.

The room was good size. The breakfast was exceptional and was prepared by Martha Garza. She is pleasant, great food presentation and awesome customer service.

There was no issues with the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful then entire stay. Possible more variety on breakfast menu must keep in mind Lent when considering menu.

Clean room spacious bathroom. No issues with staff. Lady serving breakfast was very nice and polite. Would like to see more channels on tv programing not just local channels.

The toilet was a slight problem. It moved when you sat on it. The leather on the couch arms were very badly torn.

The couch in our room was pitiful. The cushions were covered with a blanket and the arms were very worn. It should be replaced or recovered it looked. Out of place in the room, which was very nice

Check in staff was pleasant. Checking out staff was not so pleasant when we forgot our toothbrushes and the lady acted like we were bothering her. She was not not very friendly at all. Also there is not curtain to cover the window at night, just a sheer curtain. There were bright lights from the building pointing into our room all night.

The juice options for the kids was great, the pancakes were stale and tasted horrible.

There was very little parking in front of the hotel in well lit areas. The toilet seat was loose when we arrived, but once reported to the desk, it was fixed quickly. The inside shower wall looked as if it had not been cleaned in a long time. The sofa was in poor cosmetic condition. The window coverings need to be changed as the outside lights were very bright & the window coverings were not adequate to block the light entering the room at night. The bed should be situated away from the AC/heater as it would get too cold when AC came on & too hot when it went off.

The lobby was very clean & beautiful. It had a sofa in the room.

The elevator was not working when I arrived, began to work for a very short period, but then down again. They were trying to fix it. My key card would not work all the time, but the front desk was quick to reset it.

The staff were very nice, friendly, and attentive. The food served for breakfast was nice & hot. The hotel looked and smelled clean. The room met my expectations. I would stay again

The location was great for what we came for - The King Ranch and Padre Island -Port Aransas. The breakfast was very good. Hot, filling and the staff was very helpful.
