Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI really hate checking into a hotel that valets your car but doesn’t help you with your bags. I feel that really takes away from the quality stay and the expensive $40+ dollars a night. When asked the bellman for a cart he seemed unconcerned and just said they are all gone without even checking. The valet pull in area is also very narrow and can only fit about two to three vehicles at a time which is frustrating when trying to check in and facilitate your on bags with no help. This really needs to change. I don’t recall things being this way the last time I stayed here a few years ago.
The room was very cozy and comfortable to say the least! Loved the walk in shower and our room was significantly spacious despite the measurements. Free bottles of water in the fridge was very convenient. Lobby bar was ok and the bartender was very nice.

United States of AmericaI don’t like the expensive valet parking costs and self parking is always too far.
We were in town for a cruise and decided to stay one more night in NOLA after returning. AC Hotel were very accommodating for an early check-in. The staff was very helpful upon arrival and gave helpful information on laundry services that were available free of charge. The location was great for tourists and direct access to Canal and Bourbon St. We will definitely return to this location when in town again. Thanks for a great experience!

GermanyOne of the issues that stood out was the confusion regarding breakfast. When we made our booking for a room that accommodated four people and included breakfast, we expected the breakfast to be provided for all four of us. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the breakfast was only included for two people per room. This lack of clarity in the booking process was frustrating and caused confusion. It would be greatly beneficial if the hotel provided clear and transparent information regarding the breakfast policy during the booking process to avoid any misunderstandings. Nevertheless, we were appreciative of the staff's response to the situation. They were understanding and went out of their way to ensure that all four of us were able to enjoy breakfast during our stay. Their efforts to accommodate our group were commendable and helped to rectify the initial disappointment. Another aspect that fell short of our expectations was the size of the fitness area. Although we did not personally require or utilize it during our stay, we observed that the fitness area was quite small. . Additionally, it was disappointing to discover that there was no cleaning service provided over the two nights of our stay. Having the rooms cleaned and tidied daily is a standard expectation when staying at a hotel, and the absence of cleaning service was an inconvenience. Clear communication about the availability and frequency of cleaning services would have been appreciated.
I recently stayed at the AC Hotel by Marriott in New Orleans for a two-day weekend getaway, and overall, it was a pleasant and satisfactory experience. The hotel overall was very clean. The rooms and common areas were well-maintained, and I appreciated the attention to detail in ensuring a clean and hygienic environment. It was evident that the hotel staff took pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property. The comfort of the accommodations was adequate. The rooms were modern and well-furnished, providing a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring the city. The amenities provided were sufficient for my needs. The hotel's location was convenient for exploring New Orleans. It was situated in a central area, allowing for easy access to many popular attractions and landmarks. During the day, I was able to walk to various destinations, taking in the vibrant atmosphere of the city. However, it's worth mentioning that the area around the hotel could get lively at night, so using transportation in the evenings is recommended. The breakfast offered at the hotel was satisfactory. There was a decent selection of hot and cold items to choose from, providing a good start to the day. The dining area was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was courteous and attentive. In conclusion, the AC Hotel by Marriott in New Orleans provided a clean, comfortable, and modern stay. While it may not have had any exceptional features or services that stood out, it met my expectations for a standard hotel experience. If you're looking for a reliable and reasonably priced option in a convenient location, the AC Hotel can be a suitable choice for your stay in New Orleans.
