Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The fridge in the room makes noises.

I knew that we were right outside the airport, so I was not expecting to be near any restaurants or conveniences.
We needed a place to stay near the airport after a late flight. Prompt shuttle service and decent breakfast. Comfortable room and complimentary late checkout. Exactly what we needed for an overnight stay.

I booked this hotel based on the free airport shuttle. I was a little disappointed, the van was older with torn upholstery and not as timely as expected. At no additional charge, I should not complain.
The location of this hotel in proximity to the airport was great. It was nice to have restaurants within walking distance. The pool and hot tub were a bonus not expected. Friendly staff, clean rooms, hot breakfast we’re welcome.

If your thing is southwest desert views, this is not your place. Hotel is hidden behind a Enterprise Truck rental facility.
Great location airport hotel. Spacious and clean suite type room.

Hotel lobby was bright and welcoming, as were the staff. The whole place was spotless and the room and room facilities were ideal for me. It was also close to a couple of diners which was ideal.

Behind a truck rental facility. It's not a big issue, though.
Excellent, clean hotel with very nice suite rooms. The only bit of a downside is that you're behind an Enterprise Truck Rental Facility. But it is an airport hotel. Great airport shuttle, also..

The pull out wasn't as comfortable as the bed in the bedroom. They are rarely comfortable, but maybe a mattress topper could help.
The room was very large and comfortable. We had a king suite with a pull out for our kid. Very nice set up, with a door to separate the two spaces. Nice breakfast with fresh waffles was included. I appreciated receiving some bottled water at check in and check out. Nice touch.

The air conditioner or fan was cycling on and off constantly making quite a bit of noise. The complimentary breakfast was mostly horrible processed food; not many healthy or quality options.
I really liked the King Suite, very nicely appointed, comfortable bed and couches, clean. Airport shuttle was nice, and the staff was lovely and helpful.

There really wasn’t anything.
We have stayed here before and like it. It is clean, the staff are very nice especially the weekend breakfast lady. She is always happy. The pass out cookies and water when you arrive. Our room was a suite which my husband really liked. Bed was comfortable (I have a really bad back) had fridge and microwave. Breakfast is nice. Hot and cold items and plenty of variety. Real good coffee. We live in Tucson and this is our choice for a little staycation.

On my last stay tv didn’t work, had to get help starting it and refrigerator is not very cold.

Very poor water pressure and water turned completely off during mid shower. The shower/tub area could be updated.
The check in and check out processes were easy, desk staff were very accommodating. Great touch to offer water, cookies and fruit upon check-in. Updated room, comfortable bed. Reasonable check out time
