This is an older hotel. There's no bells and whistles. The lobby is closed so everyone has to check-in at a garage window. The beds were a little softer than we like. The facilities looked a little rundown. You could hear people in the hallways and in their rooms. The hotel is located in a neighborhood, and the entrance can be easily missed. You may have to turn around the cul-de-sac to gain entrance to the property. OH!! This was a not pleasant surprise. You have to put down a $100 deposit, in cash! It's refundable but I balked at that as I didn't have cash and I didn't notice it on my hotel details page. That was the biggest nuisance.

We didn't realize that we had a kitchenette in our room. We were pleased as this allowed us to save a little money. There is a grocery outlet store less than a quarter mile away and we were able to get some groceries. (If you do this route, there aren't any utensils, plates or pots/pans. Get stuff that can be easily prepared or purchase some from the outlet/dollar store) The room was clean. Check in was easy. The staff were very nice and answered our questions. Overall, clean room, clean bed, clean bathroom. We couldn't ask for more.

Staff not helpful- unclear or no directions for breakfast. Location of check-in was not pleasant, second level was totally inconvenient- slow & small elevator & stairs located too far away. The bathroom was too small and uncomfortable.

Location was really good, close to grocery store, freeway, & restaurants

simple, clean room. good location. easy in and out. only $5 to park. pool and hot tub (we didn’t use). big rooms. includes breakfast ( we didn’t have).

I was never told in advance about a $100 cash deposit. I had to go find an ATM nearby and come back again. The woman at check in was not very friendly. The room needs upgraded and the beds are HORRIBLY, so stiff. Also, their were no roll aways for my daughter!

The location was perfect. We were in town to visit my daughter at SDSU

    See above

There was at least an inch gap at the bottom of the door. My husband had to put towels to block the cold air coming in. There were some broken items. There were some holes in the wall. It was just a mess to be honest I don’t understand me being handicap. Yes there is an elevator, but I have a phobia of elevators. My room was on the third floor so I had to go up the stairs, and again I have a problem with my legs the room that we got additionally was on the first floor. That’s where they put my children in and my husband and I had to go to the third-floor. I think it would’ve been a little bit more common sense that in my room should’ve been on the first floor and the kids on the third floor since they can move better than I do, and they also stated that my room had a kitchenette and all it had was a small refrigerator in the microwave on top of the refrigerator

Finding the place was a little tricky. Once I found it it was much easier the rest of the trip. The stairs up to the third floor were kind of steep and ricketty

The room was very clean and well maintained. I really liked that there was a small kitchenette in the room even though I was only there for 1 night. Was located near to almost anything you might need like groceries, pharmacy, restaurants even a pool hall

the room had an extremely noisy bathroom fan. It was on the same light switch as the light. so couldn’t use the bathroom without the noisy fan. very annoying. One of the bed lights didn’t have a shade. The refrigerator was noisy at times. Our room did not have a TV (which they told us ahead of time) but it was the last king available. Some highway noise.

The property was located in a residential area with ongoing construction across the street. it reminded me of a long term stay property. There were what appeared to be homeless people loitering and there was a security guard posted in the parking area. The room (316) was very dated with filthy couch cushions that were stained. The “breakfast” was boiled eggs, and oatmeal.

    Nothing.

we had a kitchen but it wasn’t stocked with any utensils, plates, silverware or anything to cook with. we called the front desk and they told us they would bring a whole tray of stuff up for us. well turns out we called the hotel down the street that had the same name. when we realized, we called our actual hotel and they wanted a $20 deposit for a pan. after all of it we went to bed hungry.

it had a bed and a bathroom.
