Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe rooms were not spacious but were comfortable in size. We stayed two adults per room and sleeping four adults per room would have been less enjoyable. Still, we met up with all six adults in one room for quick meals and managed fine.
The town shopping strip was within easy walking distance of the hotel and there was a shuttle service available as well. The grounds were nice with appealing appearance. We dined at the restaurant and the little cafe. Both served delicious food. Denali Bluffs was not the first hotel that I considered but I am so glad that I booked it. When I saw other hotels in the area, I knew that I got the best available for my family.

United States of AmericaThe front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for getting over to Denali National Park and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Our room was large and very clean and we even had a view from our balcony.

New ZealandRooms were drab, dark, back in 70s, could do with brighter curtains and bedcovers. Restaurant food uninspiring and raw chicken in burger ordered. Their hotel shuttle schedule to park was changed from original and they weren't meeting early times, when best to go. Only started at 8.30am and no 12.00 return shuttle, so because we were booked for Fairbanks 1pm shuttle couldn't get to park as planned due to changed inadequate hotel shuttle service. I mean the hotel only exists for the park, it is not worth staying there otherwise. Independent travelers don't stay there.
Staff reasonably helpful.

United KingdomRoom hadn't been cleaned properly - dirty towels still in the bathroom and trash can not emptied. $8pp charge for portage of bags from the Alaska train - our Seward and Talkeetna hotels did'n't charge. We were placed right in the middle of a block with a big group of teenagers, and when we asked for a room change, the manager said that they were full. They should have tried to put the group together, away from individual travellers. The manager wasn't helpful or understanding as the hotel manager in Seward (we did not have cause to complain in Seward but observed the way he dealt with a complaint - much more professional). Rooms lower down the hill, like the one we had, are very close to the main road and suffer from noise. Very small bathroom and the sink is just as you enter the room, a strange location.
Room was decorated in a mountain feel style. Some views of the hills through the trees. Convenient as both the Wilderness tour and Park to Park bus picked us up from the hotel.

United States of AmericaThe price was a bit high but compared to other places in Alaska - definitely worth the money.
The hotel is located very close to the entrance to the Denali Park, within walking distance to town (please have in mind the hotel is up on a high hill), they also provide free shuttle service to and back from the park (and to the town too). The bus that goes from/to Fairbanks and Anchorage stops outside the hotel which is very convenient (if you don't have your car). The views from the hotel are amazing. There's a restaurant on site with very good food and drinks. The room was big, clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommend this hotel.

United States of AmericaThe Mountaineer Grill and Bar. Food was good service was sorely lacking. Diego was our server, he had the attitude that he really couldn’t be bothered. He could not remember the doula orders, had to come back after several minutes to get it again. Did not check on us, had to wave him down. The refill was wrong on my soft drink. The place was not busy so more care should have been shown. He was too busy chatting up another waiter. The bar tender had the same attitude when asked if she could check on Diego. He did not bring the mayonnaise or my husband’s soup the same time he brought mine out.
The views were magnificent, the staff went over and beyond what was expected. They made us feel like we their only guests.

United States of AmericaHad to wait 90 min past the 3 pm check in time for our rooms to be ready. And all we got In Compensation was a shoulder shrug from Tennile Also Shea at the desk had trouble understanding that the reservation was two rooms for three nights and not one room for one night The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were like rocks The restaurant was very disappointing. The menu said “ burnt tips” tri tip sandwich and I was served a rare tri tip. Sent it back and manager said he would take it off the bill and he did not had to wait 15 min to get the bill rectified
The view for our rooms was very nice

United States of AmericaWhen we checked into our rooms they were not clean. They did not vacuum the floor and there was debris all over the floor. They left a used soap bar in the shower. We booked two rooms. The shower stopped working in one of the rooms and the staff switched the room. HOWEVER they cancelled out the other key cards for the second room and assumed that all of us were staying in the new room. When we came back from our activities one day we were locked out of our room and when we went to get new key cards those didn’t work either. After the THIRD TIME our key cards finally let us in the room. When we checked out I kept saying multiple times that we were checking out of both rooms and the receptionist kept getting it wrong. When I asked her if someone could help us with our luggage to the car she said which rooms are you in?! She just spent 5 minutes checking us out and then didn’t know what rooms we were in?! This hotel needs to get it together before more people come for the summer season.
Staff helped with luggage Great location On site cafe and restaurant Provided lunch for Denali bus tour Nearby shops and restaurants
