Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RussiaThere is no fridge in the room, only box for ice. I take medicine and I have to keep it in the fridge, this box was unsuitable. There is no kettle, and the hot pot on the reception was out of order. The room is not very clean, dust was inside the furniture and on the floor.
I enjoyed the location because it’s popular tourist place but not so crowded, and it’s safe. Easy to get to the airport and city centre. There is nice street with bars, restaurants and open terraces very close, Broad street. The view from my room was amazing. I didn’t experience any inconvenience because of the elevators, probably it’s because I was staying on the 40th floor.

BelgiumSometimes you have to wait very much for the elevator. Our room was behind the elevator and it was very noisy.

LithuaniaAlthough we stayed on the 10th floor, during the peak times (check-in/check-out), the elevator took extremely long to arrive. I don't know how people dealt with this problem on the upper floors. Must have taken ages to go up/down. You might think it's not a big problem, but the staircase is quite narrow, so most of the times you have to wait for the elevator, especially if you have luggage with you. We stayed in the beginning of April and the room got very cold during the night. Also, rooms have quite poor sound isolation.
Great location! Lots of subway stops nearby. Very easy to reach the main tourist locations (9/11 memorial, Wall Street, etc). The area is quieter than uptown. Right next to the Staten Island Ferry station. Lots of cafes nearby where you can get breakfast. If you register on their website, you can get a voucher for free wifi! Helpful staff. Comfy beds. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was expensive, so we chose other cafes nearby (I'd recommend Liberty Bagels). To sum up: if I were to travel to NYC again, I would choose the same location but wouldn't go for the same hotel.

New ZealandThe only reason we possibly wouldn't stay here again is the lift situation... We ended up taking the stairs as much as possible because the wait time wasn't worth it, during the day was especially bad with check-in and out. Request a low floor if you can! Otherwise it's a great stay in NYC
Room was such a great size for NYC, at check-in they were kind enough to ask if we had a lot of luggage (4x BIG cases) and gave us a larger than normal room which was truly a godsend. Loved having access to the guest laundry facilities 10 days into a trip too! Bed was super comfy and cozy. SO close to multiple subway stations on different lines which was brilliant. Easy peasy to connect up and down Manhattan and also jump over to Brooklyn.

United States of AmericaThe elevators are HORRIBLE…. They are small and there are 3 elevators for 43 floors of rooms… we waited 23 minutes to go from the 14th floor to ground level. We waited 18 minutes going from ground level to the 14th floor. We spoke with a lady that was checking out FOR THIS REASON… she was moving to another hotel because she found the elevator situation unacceptable after being there several days on a business trip.
The location was perfect for what we had planned. Easy access to the SI Ferry, Battery Park, 1 World Trade and Wall Street.

United States of AmericaI was worried about the elevators situation because of all the comments about it, but it wasn't that bad. We did wait like 10 minutes around check out time (10am-11am). The rest of the day the wait would be like 5 minutes.
The location is AMAZING. The experience was overall pleasant. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Good A/C. Daily room service. We were able to do an early check in.

United States of AmericaEntrance is confused, there are not enough signs , where the lobby. No explanation about entrance to the parking garage. There are 2 garages from 2 side of building, and the address 55 water st. At the 3rd side. I would like to have information or small plan how to get the parking garage of the hotel. Also not all stuff of garage also know about hotel parking. Conserge was a little unpolite, but just bc we checked in at 2am I asked the same question couple times. Also room itself was not enough clean. Also it would be great to have information about nearest stores, caffe , around hotel.
Great location.
