Their was construction going on inside the hotel, parking was limited, the handles on some doors to get out of the hotel weren’t working, also ask for extra pillows and they told me they were limited, no room service because they are short on staff..

I had to change rooms cause of a bug on couch, 2nd room sofa bed had hair and other particles on it, had to ask for a fan because ac wasn't cooling and bathtub was clogged water wouldn't drain and I was told it would have to wait until morning(my husband decided to just unclog it himself and it was disgusting hair and Lord knows what else)we were there for 1 night because my apt a.c was broken so it was very upsetting.

Staff is always awesome, checking in & out is simple and breakfast was good.

Extra Deposit that I wasn't aware of, Van didn't work when we really needed it and pool was closed which we should have been advised before booking and finally No housekeeping all week.Unaccepable

When we arrived there were dirty dishes outside our door from the previous guests and they were still there until the following night. It was impossible to get anyone on the phone if you need something. We were there almost a week and called housekeeping and/or the front desk on 5 different occasions and was never able to get anyone to answer. Inside the room the bathroom is small and the tub has a bumpy, gritty bottom. I assume this is a non-slip surface but made bathing uncomfortable and difficult. The food was exceedingly overpriced.

The location was easy to get in and out of and within a short driving distance to several restaurants, none within walking except onsite. The size of the room was really nice and having a separate living area is definitely a plus for families. The staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable and there was an excellent selection for the buffet breakfast.

Pool closed for update

We absolutely loved the big rooms since we had 4 kids with us! The front desk was very helpful and kind when we asked for anything the omelets station and full breakfast was ex exceptional! We actually had a big problem with the first room we were put in fire alarm kept going off around 10 pm and the ac was set to 65 and felt like 80 degrees and had been running for hours so we had to find another room at 10 pm and move the whole family but the staff and night crew were so kind and graceful to offer that option and help us told us not to apologize that was their job to make our stay great. Was sad the pool was out of service but it's ok bc we will def be back as we come to san antonio atleast 5 times a year from houston for six flags!!! Def book your stay!

We originally booked this location with the pool in mind. And even with communication it was never even bothered to be told that it was closed and not working. This was a birthday trip and would have definitely affected my choice of staying here. There was an outlet in the room that didn't work by the sink as well but overall it was decent....

The pool was under renovation at the worst time. We had kids that love to swim and weren’t able to burn off their energy.

Swimming Pool CLOSED due to “maintenance”. This was not disclosed at booking! When I inquired at front desk for details, they said “…it had been closed for a few weeks and would be closed a few more”. We checked pool each day and lights out, no “maintenance” being performed! General Cleanliness: Carpet stains, furniture in rooms with food stains, small bathroom with toilet and shower had moldy grout and tub bottom was stained. Tile bathroom floor corners loaded with “junk”. Walls in room and restaurant eating areas were dirty. Vents in room were dusty. Our top floor (8th) had massive vents in hallways and ceilings loaded with A/C brown dust, dirt and lint. Elevator glass/clear view had hand prints, sweat grime from kids touching, but not cleaned over 2-day stay. Restaurant seating and indoor courtyard area has dirty stained pillows and walls with food splatter. Due to no daily room housekeeping (only after 5-night stay on request), appears to be taking a toll on the cleanliness and maintenance of room, in particular the bathroom. You can request new towels, shampoo, in-room coffee…but took 2 additional calls and 8 hours to receive.

Location, free parking, and very good breakfast and evening social (drinks and snack 5:30-7:30). Staff friendly. This was all expected and the reason we selected this hotel.
