Room size was very small, balcony view was at garbage side, restaurant/ breakfast was a tiny table of too, breakfast not much variety. Staffs were very rude. Despite of requests at the booking time about vegan breakfast they didn’t had and when I asked to provide they charged me extra. The facility is not as good as what the show on website. Misleading information.

The location was perfect for getting to the promenade so I was able to walk from Venice Beach to Santa Monica Boulevard. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Yummy brekkie!

They have hidden fees that they are NOT upfront with you with. After paying $1300 for 4 nights, they tell us at the check in that they need another deposit of $150 per night for “amneties fees” (Parking, towels, breakfast etc) So they charged $1900 for 4 nights, not $1300 like the online quote quoted us. I thought it was sneaky and definitely hidden. Liked the place , but no transparency. Will not return.

Location is phenomenal, close to everything I wanted to do. The rooftop bar is stunning and absolutely a treasure. The funkiness/artsiness but with 5 star care from staff is exactly what I never knew I needed. I am not sure that I will ever be able to stay in another traditional stuffy fancy hotel again after my amazing experience at Hotel Erwin. Love the art and how cool it is- the music playing in the halls and the fun and professional vibes all around.

When we first arrive there, the hotel reception is very nice to offer us nice room. We finally decided to stay another 5 nights in the hotel. The hotel manager is great guy as well,when we run out of milk for our baby, he got it for us. Although the weather is not nice for this travel ,but the people here are really great. Would definately stay in this hotel again for next hotel.

Noise level from neighboring properties are loud. Room is not very well insulated. And room next to elevator/stairs, noisy from elevator and people coming down stairs from rooftop

Kitchen area had no dishes or a microwave. Would have been a nice edition to heat up some amazing leftovers, considering the property is all about recycling and eco friendly behavior!

Location was amazing. Staff was over the top helpful and so friendly! Did everything to make us feel so welcome and comfortable in the area! Room was large and bright and inviting! Bikes to ride on the trail was a fantastic feature!

If you're a party animal, this is the hotel for you as it's close to all the entertainment. But if you're not, you're not going to sleep at all during the night. Music from outside and even noisy neighbours in the early hours of the morning. As can be seen from the photo, this was our "neighborhood" view . Coffee from the hotel coffee shop was super expensive. Tasted the same as other coffee shops.

Rooftop which is the most nice facility of the hotel had to be reserved, was mainly used by non hotel guests and therefore not available when we wanted. No gym or swinging pool is what you don't expect from a 4 star hotel. At arrival they wrongly told me in an unpleasent manner that valet parking for 50 usd was mandatory, while across the street parking for 20 usd was available. Management corrected the person but appologies were not given.

Poor sound proofing. We were in an ocean view king suite and despite the superior room, we heard our next door neighbours having violent sex so loudly that it was almost like they were in our room. When we raised it the following morning, the staff criticised us for now asking to move rooms in the middle of the night. Very disappointing and unsatisfactory.
