Kitchen area had no dishes or a microwave. Would have been a nice edition to heat up some amazing leftovers, considering the property is all about recycling and eco friendly behavior!

Location was amazing. Staff was over the top helpful and so friendly! Did everything to make us feel so welcome and comfortable in the area! Room was large and bright and inviting! Bikes to ride on the trail was a fantastic feature!

This review is hidden because it doesn't meet our guidelines.

If you're a party animal, this is the hotel for you as it's close to all the entertainment. But if you're not, you're not going to sleep at all during the night. Music from outside and even noisy neighbours in the early hours of the morning. As can be seen from the photo, this was our "neighborhood" view . Coffee from the hotel coffee shop was super expensive. Tasted the same as other coffee shops.

Rooftop which is the most nice facility of the hotel had to be reserved, was mainly used by non hotel guests and therefore not available when we wanted. No gym or swinging pool is what you don't expect from a 4 star hotel. At arrival they wrongly told me in an unpleasent manner that valet parking for 50 usd was mandatory, while across the street parking for 20 usd was available. Management corrected the person but appologies were not given.

Poor sound proofing. We were in an ocean view king suite and despite the superior room, we heard our next door neighbours having violent sex so loudly that it was almost like they were in our room. When we raised it the following morning, the staff criticised us for now asking to move rooms in the middle of the night. Very disappointing and unsatisfactory.

If you plan to have a car with you, it can get expensive real quick, no free parking and whatever parking is there costs 50$ a day as per booking.com Having said that, it's just cheaper to uber everywhere. Taking into account car rental cost as well as the city limited free parking options.

Location Location Location and balcony 🔥 From Venice beach to the close by santa monica which you could definitely walk in like 30-40 mins, to the vibrant and lively nightlife around the area.. the location is definitely a highlight to my stay. The staff are great as well.. very friendly very helpful. The hotel lends you blankets and towels for the beach so you don't have to worry about those. I think if I'm not mistaken they provide some surfing equipment as well? Not sure, can't surf to save my life so didn't pay attention :)

Hotel is old and in need of a remodel. Nothing broken, just worn. Carpets need to be cleaned. It’s also noisy at night. Soundproof windows would help.

In the heart of Venice Beach. Staff was fabulous. Friendly & helpful. Rooftop lounge was awesome – great drinks; good food; amazing views.

plumbing was very poor. we had to run water almost 5 minutes to get hot water. reception told us flushing the toilet might help. shower lacked power. no privacy in bathroom which had an odd set up. dirty carpet in room. room was serviced but they did not bother to wipe sinks or empty bins. very poor given the price charged. car parking was very expensive. there was also only one lift which was in constant use by people using the roof top bar.

No parking, only if you pay a $54 valet per day, no microwave, fridge only with space for their paid beverage, the baby crib was extremely old and full of rust, I wouldn’t recommend this facility for families with young kids at all, wouldn’t come back, very disappointed

It could be too noisy for some, being above the Boardwalk. I didn't mind.

The view from our suite on the 5th floor, the vast room, and the attention from staff. We loved the rooftop patio so much we stayed for supper. The restaurant downstairs has awesome breakfast.
