The location is good, not far from metro/busses, close to different restaurants, bars, cafés. The room is ok for a couple, even though the wardrobe is quite little even for 2 people. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was also good, everything was working properly. No fridge in the room. It's a good option as the hotel has breakfast included (yogurts, eggs, bacon, fruits, waffles which you make at the moment, and some other stuff that varies a little from day to day).

As it was 3 night stay over Christmas 2 days not serviced as one day was a snooze day for me. Called reception to request house keeping just to remove bin refuge, mis understood me, so not done. Just for info- Air-con heater mode did not work too well, noisy, afraid I would keep neighbor awake if I ran it. No blanket offered in cupboard which is a suggestion to put forward. Other than that, all good as I understood it was Christmas..

Housekeeping

The breakfast choices were varied and very good. The weekend staff that managed the breakfast did an excellent job in keeping food stocked and cleaning the tables. You could tell they took pride in their work. The front desk staff was very courteous and friendly. Only complaint I had was housekeeping. The staff came to clean our room at 5:30 pm just as we were getting ready for dinner. They didn’t empty the trash cans or make the bed. All that was done was to remove used towels and provide new towels. The rooms are small but the location is very centrally located within walking distance to a lot of places.

The room itself was very small, with barely enough room for the two of us to open our suitcases. We were looking at a wall of the adjecent building, and the noise of the airconditioning was constant. It wasn't inviting to stay in for a longer time. Considering everything, I'd say this hotel is a good option if you want a good location and a hassle free breakfast to start your day of going around NYC.

This hotel let's you stay on a central location for a decent price. Great for exploring Manhattan. Breakfast was convenient and had a good selection.

Breakfast was a bonus as many NYC hotels don’t offer this. Midtown location was excellent. This is a modest hotel, priced well by NYC standards. Simple yet clean and comfortable.

Repair to missing bathroom basin plug was complicated but the plumber came promptly and spent Saturday getting it right. All staff were very helpful.

Needs some maintenance, as toilet wouldn't flush appropriately, the shower door was off the railings and there were a lot of spots on the walls that had dings in them.

The size of the room is quite adequate for two people. We are mostly out for the day so do not spend a lot of time in the room, except at night when we return. The only issue we had was each day after the cleaners came, they left only one large size bath towel so twice we had to call for an extra bath towel as there were two of us. The staff is very professional and welcoming especially Tracie and Keisha at the Front Desk and the also the staff in the breakfast room.

The breakfast area was not able to accommodate a lot of people, it was crowded and the food was not replenished fast enough when it was empty. The toaster oven was broken and not available 5 out of the 6 days we were there. The hotel needs some attention. The carpet at the entrance of our room was torn and very dirty. The TV did not work all the time we were there.

The location was very convenient in the city. Parking was an issue. We were told that there is a public parking nearby that can be used. What we were not told is that you need to make reservations at the car park. We got to the car park and they had no room.

Our room was hot! We just couldn't get it to cool down, even setting thermostat to 66.
