Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The shower was not so great. Needs updating. Housekeeping could have been more thorough re: cleaning room and changing sheets.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Amazing! The hotel is well located in a nice residential neighborhood. It is a beautiful property.

I wish there were better restaurants within walking distance as it can be hard to get an Uber.
I love that it’s a smaller boutique hotel, offering lovely details like the breakfast on the go, the lively bar/bistro to gather for meetings and fun, the small but luxurious pool with hot tub, and the always friendly and helpful staff.

Rooms were great. Very nice hotel. Stayed with family for trip to Universal and game at SoFi. Parking was easy and reasonably priced. Convenient to a Starbucks, grocery store, and restaurants.

We had to clean some obvious dirt off the wall in our room when we first arrived. Not sure how it was missed, other wise no complaints.
Lovely grounds, modern yet hip and nostalgic, very welcoming. Easy to access from the highway, not too far from LA, nice quiet area.

The base of the beds are a menace. I took one look at the sharp, shiny chrome corners and knew I would have to be careful. Unfortunately, I did walk into one. Dear God, it was painful! I’m considered myself lucky not to have broken my toe.

My travel companion spent a lot of time in the lobby late at night and overheard conversations between staff members, complaining about guests. I wish that hadn’t happened. While I enjoyed the continental breakfast as I’m an early riser, the attendants there don’t seem to want that job.
I love this hotel. It’s located in a mixed residential / small business area, with restaurants in walking distance. The decor in the lobby, bar, room, and outdoor lounge space is beautiful, photographable, and relaxing. It’s not pretentious and over done, but high quality and thoughtful. The room is large enough for two adults to have space for belongings and personal items. The bed and bedding is soft and high quality. There’s a nice coffee bar area in the room, a small fridge, and the hotel gives bottled water on request. Hotel staff is helpful and respectful of privacy. Bar service is excellent. Morning continental breakfast is lovely to just grab and go, or sit and enjoy.

The location was close to Universal Studios, WB Studios, Porto’s The Americana , Burbank Airport and Hollywood. It is a boutique hotel which has the family vibes which we love.

Breakfast buffet was not particularly good. A cappuccino cost almost $15, so I went across the street to Starbucks.
Location was really great for us. Staff was exceptionally helpful. Free water always offered. The first night we were in a room that did not work for us but they were full, so we were switched the next night. (We were there 6 nights) Like that breakfast was included. Enjoyed the hot tub one afternoon. The restaurant is also good and the bar welcoming.

Our room had a bad smell to it. We didn’t address it with the front desk so nothing they could have done. The complimentary breakfast was also very subpar.
Great location! Loved the bar at the hotel. Enjoyed the free parking and free bike rentals.
