Price for race weekend Bathroom had moisture damage. Noisy.

We unknowingly booked our stay during the 10k bridge race, so our room rate was $700+ for two nights out of the 5 nights we stayed. It by no means was worth that fee. The usual rate is somewhat a fair deal, just because of the location. but the “gauging fee” was too high of a price. We were woken by construction at 6:30 am weekdays, and the trash truck 5:30 Sunday morning… Breakfast was more enhanced continental than gourmet as described but included in room, so sufficient. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Daniel was great! The wine and cheese with live music from 5-6 was well done. So, we liked the hotel, but to be charged extra because of an event , made the stay overpriced for the accommodation . ( Also, moisture damage in scuttle on ceiling and walls of bathroom room 108 was disconcerting )

The hotel is located across the street from the waterfront. Unfortunately, a new hotel is under construction on the other side of the street that blocks the view of the harbor. Minor issue though overall.

The location was excellent. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and the hotel was immaculate.

Amazing experience- start to finish. Staff was absolutely REMARKABLE. Front desk/car attendants/room service - absolutely EVERYONE treated us like royalty. Beautiful and spacious room, with the MOST comfortable bed and pillows.

The heater fan was loud. It was especially annoying because it was cool in Charleston during our visit and the heat was on at night. When other guests left or entered their rooms, the doors tended to close heavily. Not much of an issue unless it was early in the morning or late at night. Across the street, another hotel is nearing completion, which will eliminate much of the view in from the Harbourview. Not the hotel's fault, but could be an issue for some.

Breakfast was great. The evening wine and cheese was a nice and unexpected touch. The employees were all pleasant, helpful, and looked like they enjoyed working there. The room was comfortable and spacious.

The staff and the accommodations at the Harbourview Inn were wonderful. All of the little touches like beverages in the atrium, happy hour and cookies and milk at night were great. I also appreciated the phone call I received approximately a week before my stat letting me know about the construction project happening next door and asking if I had any questions prior to my stay.

It was in the perfect location close to every restaurants, fountains, waterfront,market place, coffee shops, rainbow row, free bus service across the street, and the staff was excellent!! Highly recommend to stay here!! Oh Breakfast, wine, & cookies were an extra special treat all included in our stay.
