There was a slight off odor in the closet. Bathroom was small but it worked just fine. No in-room coffee (cafe 100ft from hotel was excellent).

Very cool hotel from 1920s, with photos of legendary actors and scenes throughout. Bed very comfy, staff super -- Michael and David at front desk were super nice. Excellent restaurant attached. Central Hollywood locale.

The only thing, it will be good to have a kettle available (even just one in the reception) and cups, at least on Sunday when the restaurant is closed. We wanted to make a Coffe or a tea when we arrived after we were travelling all day and it was a miserable weather outside. But the hotel coundnt provide any.

Situated on a loud street, you definitely need ear plugs to sleep. No ventilation in the bathroom, the room was damp despite having the window open. Location so-so, better to stay in DTLA if you wish to reach locations by walking or metro. Guy at the check-in was just rude. Not a single please or thank you.

Cheap parking (17$ per night). The place has a restaurant at night and a bakery for breakfast. Good location. Great price.

There is a bit of an "unsafe" feeling. Almost like anyone can get inside the hotel and there is nothing to be done about it. Nothing happened when we were there, but there was this "vibe"with some warnings about getting your things stollen and using a deadbolt at all times.

The room was very nice and it surprised us in size (im kind of convinced that we were upgraded because it was substantially bigger than the other rooms we saw). The hotel is a good hotel. Not a great or amazing one: A good one. THre price is good, staff was nice and the comfort is ok. You don't really feel like you are in busy, noisy, messy LA when inside this hotel. There is a bar which is apparently a hit in the beighborhood and it is quite beautiful. The parking lot is SO nice! Location is GREAT if you want to do things around hollywood (but if you are thinking "disneyland" forget about it)

Good location, parking was available right there at reasonable cost. Beautiful bar and outdoor patio! Ones inside the building you had no idea it was right on the busy street!

It needed 2 chairs in the room for the table and a light for the side of the bed that didn't have one. I requested these but was told there was no other furniture could be provided.

Lots of people walking around in the halls late at night and upstairs and lots of creaking, which is understandable since it is a large hotel but more noticeable than others I have been on. I felt quite itchy on the bed and the bed sheet material was not the best nor the most comfortable.

The staff was very friendly and I somehow ended up getting free parking which was great. The room was relaxing. Very good price for a 3 star hotel.
