The mattress was quite soft, the pillows were thin and firm. The showers were rather small, but plenty of warm water.

We had a clean, quiet room and a nice assortment of store-bought breakfast items available to us in the communal kitchen. The owners were nice and welcoming.

The kitchen bin! We were there for 2 nights and the kitchen bin smelt of fridge leftovers but never emptied. And after a very positive arrival we did not see our host for the entire time we were there. We would use again but would need to change our mindset about why we choose a B and B rather than a hotel.

I didn’t like the sheets. Felt slippery , sleazy.

Loved having a laundry facility. Breakfast was make your own but very adequate. Liked having tea or coffee available all day and a kitchen to work with.

We arrived in Valdez on Sunday the day of “Gold Rush Days” celebration down town and the roads to the B&B were partially blocked (We ended up going to the celebration and having dinner there). but when we did arrive no one was there to let us in. We called Lorna, our host, and were given the code for home entry and and directions to our room. The B&B is located in a nice residential area in Valdez. The whole bottom floor is the B&B and the upper floor is where the family lives. There were four rooms with private bathrooms around a central area with dining table and kitchen, an adjacent living room with couches, massage chair and laundry room for guests. It was a very nice arrangement and we had the opportunity to meet many other interesting visitors, some from other countries. The breakfast was self serve with many foods like yogurt, juice, milk, muffins, bagels, cereal, eggs, etc.. We could also store our own food in the refrigerator. It was very clean and nicely furnished. We had a queen bed and another single bed in the room. The room was not large but with the community spaces is was very comfortable and felt very homey. Later, Lorna had lots of information about Valdez history and places to visit. It was particularly interesting how they handled the extreme amount of winter snow they receive, how they clear it from their roofs and from around their homes. Valdez is a smallish town and the B&B was within walking distance to many restaurants, the waterfront, museums, and the ferry to Whittier. We highly recommend this B&B Inn.

Everything, from the beginning, was great. Wonderful hospitality, clean place and cozy atmosphere. The multiple suggestions made by the owner (sightseeing, restaurants, cruiser...) were all great.

A very friendly place. The bed is extra soft, for those who like it. There is a great massage chair. Breakfast is fine with bagels, muffins, English muffins, cheese, butter, jam, peanut butter, juice, milk, yogurt, cereal, hot cereal, fruit, hard boiled eggs and more.

The price seemed excessive for a room and bathroom, but it was pleasant stay.

The location was clean, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen area and the food available for breakfast was very good. It was nice to wake up and access the kitchen and the food for breakfast.

Dark decor in bedroom without much natural light but this was a rear room.

Friendly, helpful hosts who warmly welcomed us into their home.. Conveniently near the harbour and downtown with ample parking onsite. A spacious, shared downstairs area solely for guest use, included lounge with massage chair, and dining/kitchen area. The kitchen had everything you needed and the breakfast supplies were generous and varied. The room with its own ensuite was a decent size, bigger than some hotels. Laundry facilities were available with detergent included.

Temperature of the room a little warmer during the day time. Was unhappy with a cold shower as I take a short shower this was very frustrating.

It was clean ,the common rooms were spacious. The showers were a little small, had a cold shower one night and the room was quite cool during the day. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very nice.
