Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe size of the room for the price we paid, we didn't even have a microwave to warm food, the housekeeper let herself into the room while my friend was still dressing 45 minutes before our check-out time, that was very rude
The hotel was beautiful. It was also in a great location of the city

United States of AmericaI found a few aspects quite dissatisfying. It's curious how with hotels, the higher the cost, the fewer amenities are included. Cheaper hotels often offer complimentary parking, breakfast, high-speed WiFi, and more. We were charged $55 per day for parking, and each time we retrieved our car, there was an awkward expectation to tip. Considering the high price, tipping should have been included.
The staff were great. We had an issue with the shower curtain and in seconds it was replaced. Could not ask for anything more.

United States of AmericaThe valet line was wrapped around the entire downstairs and the system was down and they were still charging $55 I almost missed my flight. Waited in line for 1 hour. This ladies are rude. The guys running back and forth did great but the two black women working at the valet desk March 10th at 11:30am have bad attitudes.

NetherlandsLong waiting line at check-in, expensive breakfast, especially if you're not a big morning eater. Hotel does not feel very special (although there is also nothing wrong) apart from the lobby, which is definitely impressive.
I had a comfortable stay for 2 nights. Good bed and good comfort in the room. Walking distance to a couple city hotspots. The hotel is mainly very large, with multiple towers and plenty of floors.

United States of America1. The bathroom floor got drenched each time I showered and water was pooling due to poor drainage design. 2. I clipped my finger while trying to move the table aside to fit in an infant crib. The table top and frame weren’t attached and my finger got caught in between, causing some bleeding and a swollen finger.
Location was close to where I needed to be

United States of AmericaThe only thing that made my visit not so great is the parking: the valle was full and there were. O hotel parking lots. We parked down the street, paid extra money and had to walk with our luggage for a block. And my deposit was never returned.
The view from the room and inside the hotel were amazing. The size of the room and the cleanliness was top shelf. The breakfast was incredibly delicious!

United States of Americascammers, Panhandlers and crooks on the streets.. (Not your fault)
Good day, I have been in the hotel industry sine 1996 and I am a GM with Sonesta Hotels. My wife originally booked our stay at the Fairfield Inn downtown ATL. What a disaster. Was expected to park 2 blocks away and walk through a war zone. Hotel was run down, homeless laid out in front of building etc.. We never even made it out of the vehicle before we started looking for another place to stay. My kids and I did not feel safe at all so we went on an opaque site and found the Hyatt Regency! WHAT A DIFFERENCE. The property was in excellent shape, staff was amazing and we had an amazing time. I am shocked how much the city has changed since my last trip back in 2013. The only negative comment would be the aggressive panhandlers that run the streets in the immediate area. There was plenty of police presence but at no time did I feel safe. My kids and I were hassled for money every single time we stepped out of the building. Sad, such a beautiful city has turned into what it has. I will definitely be back to stay at another Hyatt. We love the brand. Stayed at many Hyatt Place back in the day when my kids were playing travel hockey.. As a manager with Sonesta, it's hard to select another brand but you left a great impression on us. Kudos to your staff!

United States of AmericaThe 2 queen bed + balcony room was wonderful, loved allowing the fresh air and sunlight to come in. Once balcony is closed you cannot hear the street traffic. Valet parking was $55 per day, but it was very convenient. The location was very close to State Farm Arena and Underground Atlanta, perfect for visitors who want to uber to nearby bars or spots.

CanadaMy room was not in the system so I had to stay in a smaller room, even though I had booked it a month ago.
I liked that the staff were patient with me when my credit card was denied. I had no way of calling my bank company in Canada but I was grateful for being able to pay with my debit card before that was shut down four days later.
