Convenient location a short walk from the beach. Tremendous hospitality! Breakfast included a hot egg dish, fresh pastry, yogurt, granola, fruit, cereal—something for everyone. The afternoon wine break with savory nibbles will hold you over to dinner.

United States of America1 review“The Inn at Playa del Rey was the perfect temporary HQ for our visit to the Los Angeles area.”Road traffic (Culver Blvd.) was noisier than I expected. Heater in room made a lot of noise.
The breakfasts were delicious and a good way to start each respective day. My sister and I both looked forward to them so much so that I took to sneaking down to the dining room in the evenings to read the board listing the following morning's breakfast menu.

Very spacious rooms with balcony overlooking fields! Breakfast was small but plenty. Free parking offered which is incredibly rare for LA! Staff very friendly and made me feel welcome and at home!

We just didnt know anything about the area and were pleasantly surprised. It was conveniently close to the airport. Clearly, the choice of restaurants etc. is limited, but it was easy to get around, and we especially enjoyed the easy access down to the beach and the bicycle path. The property itself was very nice and clean, kind of quaint, the staff were friendly and helpful. We will come back. And free covered parking!

Location and staff!!! This property is close to LAX but you don’t feel like it. Walking distance to beach. And the staff is so friendly and accommodating. They make you feel right at home.

The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable; staff were friendly and supportive and the breakfast, afternoon snacks and free wine were a lovely extra touch that gave me, travelling alone, an opportunity to get to know other guests. It was a short walk to the beach and eateries and supermarkets are close by.
