The lodge is located next to a bridge that crosses the lake and is noisy. Not a huge problem, but still there. The hotel could use a restaurant and bar because there is nothing in walking distance.

We really enjoyed our three night stay in a fabulous suite with a view of the lake! The balcony was large and we spent a lot of time there enjoying the view of the lake! The water was warm enough and took several swims from the lodge. We also liked being out of Sandpoint but within 5 minute striking distance. Would stay here again for sure!

There is no breakfast. Their site states "continental", but it's only Costco muffins and biscotti. Also some small apples. The room had a full kitchen minus a stove/oven. We were unable to cook any of our own meals. There's a gas fireplace in the room and we could see the pilot light burning, but perhaps it has a bad thermostat. The gal at the front desk offered to come up and "wiggle" something to try and get it working...we didn't think that was the proper answer to the situation, and we declined the offer. Also, the deadbolt didn't latch. We lifted up on the door a little and got it started, but it needs to be properly installed in order to be used. We paid $500 per night.

We made late reservations and got a very nice, comfy room with a large kitchen. However, there is no oven or stove. The deck was the highlight with great views of The Long Bridge into Sandpoint, and we saw the most beautiful sunsets. The furniture and bed were super comfy. This is a large one bedroom apartment.

Would prefer a little more option for breakfast if possible. Doesn’t have to be a big hot spread as I understand there is a lot of waste with that

Beautiful property. Will be traveling with my dog in the future which they can’t accommodate. I understand why if others in the past didn’t follow the rules ect. Just probably won’t be able to stay here in the future for that reason. Beautiful view. Booking site needs to update no pets and be more clear if you do or don’t get a water view. Not the hotels fault though.

My only complaint was that in a 3 night stay housekeeping never cleaned the room. No clean towels or made bed, trash was overflowing.

The location was great, the view of the lake was amazing. The rooms were spacious & well furnished. The staff was accommodating for some special requests.

The facility and lodge are great. Too bad they have closed their restaurant. Check in was excellent. Rebecca was very helpful and friendly.

Restaurant and lounge were closed. No ice machine..just bagged ice in a cooler.

Location and property were nice. Downfall is that the restaurant is closed and for the cost of the room I expected to have on site dining.

not really a continental breakfast, just muffins and some fruit. Also wasn't aware on site restaurant was closed. Also, found a pill under the bed (dropped something and had to find) so little better cleaning should happen. what if my child ate that pill?

COVID definitely has taken a toll. To no fault of their own. One can tell they are upgrading, and are in the process of restoration with their amenities like their hot tubs. In a year this place will be back to prime or better.

Location, room, view, groundskeeping, and staff were superb. We will be back. Restaurant next-door was amazing.

Hot tub was small, and kind of crammed back in a corner. Felt like an after thought.

The room was clean and large and up-to-date. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Lodge itself was beautiful as was the location.
