To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaI don’t think the rooms have been updated since the early 1990’s. If the pool is going to just be unusable they should at least cover it up so it doesn’t look all nasty like it does. Door locks didn’t feel like it could hold back a strong gust of wind let alone an intruder.

United States of AmericaThere was no microwave in our room (it was outside) and our fridge didn't work. The lights and fan in the bathroom/dressing area were connected and you couldn't turn off the fan and just have light. There was a couple two rooms down having a domestic violence spat that was very loud. Someone was knocking on the doors around 3am.
The cable selection was good and the TV worked well. The beds were fine and the location was close to our destination.

USAThe beding linen was clean, small fridge was in excellent condition, shower linen clean, restroom clean, drapes good, heat and air condition good, house keeping descent not enough english for communication, good location in downtown los angeles to commute to neat by business and buses or trains. Signs for designated smoking areas in unit. Helped out with luggage excellent customer service.
Unit 151 floor needed repair, no 247 free wifi service as advertised, witness an k9 dog attack an tenant while roaming the parking lot. The whole staff that day were in alert. One of the house keeping maids were in fear of the k9 dog while doing house keeping. Went to the front desk to see if the dog was picked up and in the facility. The front desk employee stated that the dog was an service dog and showed me the picture of the dog. I stated an service dog has an service harness, doesn't roam parking lot, they help the disable or with there owner. The owner of the k9 dog drove into the parking lot and put the dog into the vehicle. Later the front desk employee seen having an conversation with the owner of the k9 dog. Had to wait for my child and I could walk out the parking lot to aid errands.

United Arab EmiratesThe staff was rude. We paid more than what is agreed in booking.com. the first paper that was showed to us contains a 14% "commission" that he insists as not a commission but tax. But our booking charge already include a 14% tax, but still they charged us additional 14%. And refused to gave us a receipt. On our last day they gave us a paper on a daily charge but adjusted the first day(higher rate day) to catch up the total charges that they asked. The staff rudely told us to understand english 😡 . We we're tired and its already 8pm so we couldnt transfer to other hostel.
