Parking was a problem. Hotel caters to cruise lines. As a result, parking was not next to room ... not good when it rained!

Biggest problem with hotel is no wifi in rooms. Hotel was very busy with guests. Rooms need renovation. Minor problems with toilet plumbing.

Good location. Front desk staff, especially hotel manager, is nice and accommodating at checkin. Wifi in lobby is good and fast.

The location is very convenient, very close to Denali Park. Also the view at the resort is gorgeous. I wish I could stay longer. We found out at the front desk that the resort offers free shuttle to Denali Park, which is a surprise. A+ experience

Really liked the Karsten’s restaurant decor, fireplace & fire pit. Great windows & Mountain View’s. Good vibes & atmosphere.

You have to park away from the room although can load close to it. At reception they did not mention the nice shopping/dining center at the heart of the complex. Got a room at U block that seemed older than other rooms. Check which room at what building you get.

Hard to get to/fro cottonwoods with my 86 year old friend. Especially, afterward with our luggage to the shuttle.

The bar side of Canyon Steakhouse had excellent service. Wish I’d gotten our servers name. She was the best in trip! Also, there was a lady that has a severe choking episode while we were there and one of your staff assisted. I think EMTs came after we left.

Spotty wifi is code for lobby only. The property is just ok. Beds are fine. Nothing memorable about this hotel except for the lack of quality.

We had booked a room with 2 queen beds for 4 adults and ended up getting a room with a queen, double and pull out sofa! I talked to the property about it and they told me that booking.com should not have put the photo of a 2 queen bed room when I booked with them as they do not guarantee such reservation. Booking.com should have been upfront about this but this fine print did not appear clearly when I made my booking months ago! Really disappointed about this so please keep this in mind if you book this property via booking.com.

Staff was very friendly and responded well to our questions/requests. Location was very close to the Denali park entrance which was great.

The furnishings are old, carpet was dingy, couch was torn.

It was big, spacious with amazing view. Amenities on site: laundry, restaurants, excursion booking, business kiosk with computer/printer. Staff is SUPER! They make the stay wonderful. I highly recommend it! As a traveling single mom with a 9 year-old I felt safe letting him explore and staff was super friendly with kids. Great stay 😊

It would have been nice to have a microwave and a little refrigerator in the room, or at least in the common area of each building.

Unless you want to eat at a restaurant, there’s nothing nearby. At least nothing you can walk to. One of the employees was so kind and went and got me a wrap, chips and chocolate milk. He wouldn’t take any money. That’s what I call above and beyond!!

Not a real issue however I had to have an online meeting and the wifi doesn’t work in the rooms.

The property was in a great location. The courtyard area had gas and log fires you could sit around, have a drink and listen to live music - great atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants and bars. We also went to the Music of Denali show which was heaps of fun.

No wifi in the room, rude staff. When we called the reception to say the wifi wasn't working the front desk staff said "we encourage our guests to explore the wilderness". The room is so and so--clean but it felt old and kinda crammed. Overall it was too expensive for what it's worth.

Great outdoors facilities, including fire pits, a nice seating area, an amazing vista point with mountain views.

Very basic rooms catering to cruise ship passengers. Felt very impersonal. No elevator to 2nd floor and no lotion in bathrooms. Didn’t feel like they were trying very hard

This property is owned by Holland America and apparently their system does not work well with Booking.com. They didn’t have our reservation and were quite full. They did manage to find our group 3 rooms and honored the rate.

Location is nice. Lodge atmosphere is nice. Would have loved to use the fire pits on the property, but the weather didn’t cooperate. Rooms were fairly basic, but comfortable enough.
