There is no microwave in the room. It’s in the courtyard for anyone to use. No breakfast which said included not that I wanted any and I still have yet to receive my hundred dollar hold deposit. I reached out to the main office going back to the actual hotel itself and still I am waiting it was over price and I would appreciate my deposit back.

The person to check me in was very nice courteous and friendly did put me at ease because I was a little leery of the location

Just a lot of noise from Biscayne, other than that it was nice.

on a 3 day stay i would have appreciated a full cleaning of room and not just a partial. new clean sheets would have been nice

I had to change rooms because of how many days I was in there. Which was 5. I had to checkout instead of extending because they didn't have a room ready. Rude lady in the office. Paid 450 for 2 days and they barely had any cable channels. Wouldn't fix my bed that was about to break. Terrible customer service

Neighborhood is kind of sketchy

neighborhood is not the best but the room was very clean and the gas station on the corner has a lot of fresh fruit already prepared and very good the room was cheap compared to all the other prices on South Beach which were 400 and up I recommend this place I had a great time staying there it’s not the Marriott or anything but it is clean and they have cable didn’t have a problem with anybody and the staff is very honest when they clean my room they left my money and my jewelry which was fantastic

Room was not very well cleaned, and the upstairs guest was extremely loud, but it was decent and for the price I guess. Only real upside was the location.

No one told me where the free breakfast was or that they sold drinks at the counter.

The internet connection and the fact that you can smoke outside. And the beds were very comfortable.

No microwave in the room, no coffee machine in the room especially provided they don't provide breakfast anymore. As of today (September 2021), Shalimar advertise they include breakfast in their rates but a small note after you book tells you that it may not be available. It isn't available because of COVID. I'm fine with something limited due to COVID, but it genuinely misleading to keep advertising on booking.com that way, it takes only few minutes to update the listing to remove "breakfast included" and change it back when it's offered again. What let me a sour feeling is how the staff was super prepared to answer about it when asked: "Look at the footnotes on your reservation", they know what they're doing. In addition, when you reach the customer service of Booking.com to tell them Shalimar should update their listing, Booking.com reached out to Shalimar and Shalimar told them they can't provide breakfast due to state regulation (we all know there isn't any regulation in Florida at this time) but they dodge an answer the misleading listing. At the end we picked the place mostly because the breakfast and we wouldn't if it weren't advertised.

Room was as I expected, good AC, looking at the parking lot so no noise from the street. Beds were fine and TV was working great with many channels.

The room wasn't clean, there were tags on the floor, the chairs were dirty, tables were dirty, the blanket had a burn hole and it looked nasty, there was a long hair in the middle of the bed. Will not go back. I guess they only changed the sheets before I came in.

Priced a lil expensively considering there are a few basic amenities missing from the room but you could ask to borrow/use from the front.

The rooms are very clean and modestly updated.
