Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThis didn’t bother us but it may for some people, the rooms aren’t serviced daily but you can request anything you need.
This is our 5th stay at the Park Shore so that pretty much says it all! We love staying here, great location at the quieter end of Waikiki. We also loved Lulu’s and the added 10% discount was great! Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfy, great view from our partial ocean view room.

CanadaWhen we arrived, the shower body wash that’s supplied was completely empty, we had a lamp not working/needed a lightbulb, and the fridge was broken. They were quick to get maintenance in and fix all this but it should have been checked .
The location was perfect - one min walk to the beach and we were able to get complimentary beach chairs, umbrella, towels, etc. The view was amazing!

AustraliaThe room lacked facilities and the hotel was very noisy on our floor. Our room was opposite the other tower and there were people calling out to each other on balconies constantly.
The location was brilliant, definitely the best beach at this end of Waikīkī. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

RomaniaThe room has a moisture/ moldy smell. It had dust on furniture, like on the bed frame. Absolutely dirty curtains and drapes, blackened by dust. The stainless steel bars in the bathroom were rusty. The terrace furniture and railing unwashed in months.
The view of the ocean and Diamond head is amazing! We enjoyed our stay, the room is a nice size, and the bed is comfortable. Staff is mostly friendly. I loved the coffee corner in the morning until the machine broke down and 3 days later was still off. I would recommend a higher floor as you can hear a lot of traffic noise on the 4th floor. In 2019, they redid only the lobby and pool area. I would love to return after a refurbishment of the rooms and a better housekeeping.

CanadaGreat location, across from beach. Nice lobby and 3rd floor pool deck. But did expect more for partial view than what we got and housecleaning staff didn't do a good job.

United States of AmericaCleanliness: the room was dusty, the bathroom was clean very poorly (the toilet wasn’t properly cleaned and there was urine smell all the time). And it was never cleaned though. Clogged drain in the sink. Outdated bathrooms with no fan. Very uncomfortable beds and pillows. If you sleep on a firm mattress, these will be your nightmare. Beach towels are with old red/orange stains. There was no issues with replacing them though.
The location! This is the major advantage of the place. The ocean views are incredible. But be advised that with that comes a noise. Great service- everyone was nice and helped out with any questions or requests we had.

New ZealandBeds could be better. Other guess could be considerate. you can hear nearly everything happening in the corridors and doors shutting. Don't let that put you off as you only use the room for sleeping.
Location Perfect! Transport Perfect! House Staff Perfect!! The bus from Airport (#20) took us from boor to door. The buses were so convenient to travel everywhere! literally bus stops outside the hotel. The hotel exterior is nice, the lobby is well presented, however our room let them down. our room were would score a 6 out of 10, beds were small and a little uncomfortable, however we knew this was a double room. It was nice and clean the house staff were incredibly nice and friendly and super helpful. The partial ocean view room was just that and nice, what let it down was the messy ground of what could be described as a workshop or homeless shelter. Fire alarm went off at 1230 am and although the house staff intercomed the rooms to advise its a false alarm. This was also annoying as most people on our floor ignored this and evacuated and made as much noise as they could while we tried to return to sleep. Free filter water to fill water bottles, Sunscreen and Soothing lotion in the hotel lobby. So many homeless in Honolulu, there were no concerns or safety issues around this hotel. ABC stores in the hotel and everything you would want is located in the hotel. Coming from New Zealand this is more expensive hotel for a smaller budget. Most tour operators pick up at Twin Finn Hotel which is a 2 minute walk, very easy.
