Gym is terrible; dirty and very dated with barely any equipment. Carpets in rooms were being cleaned the day I checked in, so I had to leave the room ten mins after getting in. Air conditioning was really loud, although this did get sorted once I addressed it with reception. A really small thing which is easily fixed; I don’t understand why housekeeping would make up a room and leave the toilet seat up?! Every day I came back to the room to find the seat up; as a solo female traveler, this is really quite gross, there is a reason I don’t travel with men and this is one of them!

Good location just outside the FQ. Lovely friendly staff. Good sized room, comfortable bed. Nice bar area.

Water temperature and pressure could have been better in the shower so be prepared. Air conditioning runs warm at baseline, however, it sounds like you can request for it to be “switched over” to be a cooler temp so it can be fixed.

The room was small but that didn’t bother us. A few details that added up would make us consider not staying here again: a hole in the sheets, tv had image problem, window can’t be open and is frosted glass, woke up at 4am by a super loud garbage truck (or construction? Felt it was in the room) and humid smell (maybe because they clean the carped).

Good location right by the street car and French quarter, clean bathroom, one person at the desk was very nice and helpful, but others seems not to care too much. Appreciated having a mini-fridge in the room.

Bartender Tammy seemed lost but very nice. The construction noise in the morning.

Housekeeping hours were a bit off: one day, they came at 5:50 pm, and the next, they knocked on my door at 9:30 am. My fellow neighbors were all very quiet throughout the night but when people were passing by the room and talking - I could hear every word- it's always a good idea to bring noise-cancelling ear buds.

Loved interior design of the place and the room! Nice shower. Very clean. Excellent location. Got a free drink at the hotel bar as a perk for staying. The front desk staff was extremely nice and friendly.

-bed was really uncomfortable -lobby bathroom not very clean. -really wish there were little waters in the room or easy access to water in the building we stayed in

-Great Decor/style -very easy access to canal. Just two blocks down! -blackout curtains -two of the staff went out of their way to help us.

Room not in same building as reception. Bar shut at 11pm, even for residents. Window faced parking lot but no other option to screen room than to lower blackout blind. Could not then raise blind. No option for help with bags, even going between two buildings and having to cross street to do so.

Decent sized room. Comfortable bed. Good location.

The shower was very confusing and for a long time on the first day we could only get cold water. Staff didn’t replenish coffee capsules on a couple of occasions.

Good bedroom and bathroom, large comfy bed. Great location in financial district, around a 10-15 min walk to all the main areas of NOLA. Friendly staff on check in.

Our first room was freezing and it could apparently not be fixed, so we were moved without fuss. Housekeeping had an unfortunate habit of taking items away and not replacing them, e.g. we seemed to have one small towel less every day and on the last day did not get a fresh floor mat. Also seemed impossibly to communicate with housekeeping staff. Very odd experience.

Scores for staff and facilities reflect a mix of top-notch front of house service and erratic housekeeping / old building with strange heating & cooling system. Had it not been for wonderful front of house service, the rating would have been considerably different. Breakfast was OK, apart from the Starbucks coffee (we dislike), but relatively pricey.

I wouldn't have chosen carpets for the rooms, they can be traps for dirt and germs.

Me & my partner really appreciated the location of this hotel for what we required for our stay in New Orleans. It was in easy walking distance to Bourbon Street & surrounding areas. We stayed in a king room & there was plenty of space for us & the bed was comfy & we had a great sleep.

The room was comfortable and clean. The bed and pillows were also quite comfortable. The location worked well for us, as it's not in the French Quarter, but close enough to walk. We didn't want to stay directly in the quarter, for example. We had a drink at the bar one evening as well and the bartender was great.

Our television in the room didn’t work properly. we had to call up for service two times.

the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. we really enjoyed breakfast and cocktails at the bar throughout the stay. John & Mack in the bar/ restaurant area we’re very nice. The manager was also helpful and accommodating! close proximity to French quarter and food.
