Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe hotel needs extensive, complete renovation. Everything is old. The rooms, the furniture, appliances, bathroom, phone, carpets, sheets, drapes, decoration, lights, etc. are quite old and worn out. That creates an atmosphere of a place in decay that does not care enough about the comfort of its guests. There are other hotels in Olympia of comparable ratings and prices that are much modern and comfortable.
The location, surrounded by big trees near a lake. Quiet area, lots of privacy.

United KingdomAlthough our room was clean, there was a musty smell especially in the bathroom. The window and net curtains had mildew. We were there much and kept the windows open otherwise Also,a minor point, at breakfast there were no toast/jam/cereals/yogurt which was a little disappointing, but i guess this is down to preferences.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very spacious room. The bar and restaurant were nicely decorated with view ofbthe garden.

United States of AmericaSeemed run down; other than the young woman who checked us in, the staff was grumpy. Breakfast not worth the extra cost; room needed a deep clean. Had to vacate hotel upon checkin due to fire alarm. Fortunately it was not a fire.
Location is great. Room was comfortable and looked recently renovated.

United States of AmericaLower the prices of the food. Breaking even is important but even a dollar would be better for the guests.
Great on site restaraunt and lounge-but unfortunately expensive. It was located in an upscale part of Olympia and many ammenities and walking trails/ neigborhoods.

United States of AmericaNo coffee in the rooms! Had to get up and go all the way downstairs to get coffee. The hotel is big and we were pretty far away from the lobby. Also neither ice machine worked on the 2nd or 3rd floors. Carpet in front of both sets of elevators (2nd and 3rd floors) were stained with and looked terrible but they appeared to be new. Not sure why they weren't shampooed and cleaned up. All the outside windows need to be dusted, the spider webs were so bad.Really made the hotel look unkempt!
The food at the restaurant was really good but pricey. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean!

We were stopping through on the way back up towards SeaTac and this was definitely one of the nicer places. It's very clean and professional. The staff were great and patient about having some processing issues regarding the debit card.

United States of AmericaThere is a small homeless camp next to the hotel which was quite surprising. I stayed away from Olympia to avoid this problem. We never felt threatened even when we hiked right past it. What I did not like is that we had a bottom floor room and we like a open window. We kept our window closed because of the camp. Someone could walk right up to the window. If we stayed again we would insist upon an upper floor room.
Room was good enough and clean. We stayed only one night passing through. No breakfast and a big place. The hotel had a bar and restaurant and that was handy because the hotel is a little off the beaten path. I would stay here again if I was just passing through. The lake was nice too.

United States of AmericaFront desk lady seemed inconvenienced when we checked in. Hotel still under renovation...seems to be taking a long time. Room was older, not super clean, with used tissues behind the dresser, dirty washcloths in the tub, with used soap left out. Showed pool available, but when in person, pool closed. Previous pay for coffee bar was now gone. Really sad! Felt like what we paid for didn't quite match the description.
Close to downtown Oly but not too close. Plenty of parking, lots of shade and trees. Quick check-in. Room was big. Hotel was quiet. Coffee out front in the a.m. was fantastic!! Beds were comfortable.
