Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Parking $50 per night
Perfect location right on the beach and very close to a bus stop so you can get there from the airport for only 3$. Nice staff and good room, in ours snorkel equipment and cleaning of the room was even included in the price

The sink got to go. Its design doesn't function well therefore it wets the bathroom before 1 person finishes using it. And the room size is too small for the rate, they're charging even thought the location makes up for it.
Love the location, staffs, and coffee - 5 stars!

The building itself is a little dated so it has some quirks and isn’t as well insulated as newer ones.
The staff were always SO friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious, and the location was great with easy access to the beach, park/zoo, restaurants, etc. Loved always having fruit-infused water and coffee available in the lobby. And being able to grab free beach chairs and floats was awesome to a day at the beach.

The room next door decided to have an on-going party for the new years and they were singing Karaoke until 3 am in the morning. My husband was upset and told the front desk. The front desk sent a security up right away and it was dealt within a minute. The walls are thin and the sound carries easily.
The staff was absolutely amazing. They were friendly and helpful.

Pretty small bed (double?), bit further away from main areas, air con is right next to bed which makes it a bit uncomfortable

The bathroom doesn't have a fan to properly dry it out. It just has a vent/window to outside. It was always very humid. Also the lighting could be better in the walkway but doesn't really matter.
The hotel is clean and well kept. The location is fantastic especially for the price. The staff is friendly and nice. Our room was on the non ocean side so you are facing apartment buildings but the room was great and felt clean. We got sneak peeks at the view on the ocean side and from the 8th floor it looked amazing. Might be worth the upcharge. I would recommend staying here

The room cleaning must be requested each day: that is the only thing we must do each day — but it didn’t bother us.
Staff were extremely friendly, professional, helpful. Cold water with cups and coffee were offered and available 24/7. Beach gears were offered (despite we checked them out but we didn’t actually use it due to the water was not warm enough for me). Air conditioner was working so well. The hotel location was so perfect. The view from my room window was so fantastic (as I had requested before arrival. LOVE IT 100%. I will return and stay here for next visit. Definitely! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

no pool,
staff were wonderful and nice. Made up for no swimming pool and the extra $30 a night amenity fee that I don't believe was mentioned in the original booking price. I would have looked at a differnt place if I had known the real rate was $30 a day more than advertised.

Our room faced a wall of plywood covered windows along the outside of the next door building, which was not quite the "city view" I had imagined, but after our stay we felt very renewed anyway.
Perfectly located a stone's throw from the beach with endless shops and restaurants all around, in the thick of the Waikiki Buzz. Meanwhile, our room was very peaceful, quiet, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, the place clean and attractive, and the coffee machine and beach equipment were nice touches.

The showering place was not as clean as expected and the water was small.
The location was convenient and the room was overall pretty good. The bed was wide enough to sleep two people without squeezing.

The chairs in the room weren’t very comfortable.
The staff were so friendly and hospitable and answered any questions we had. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach and plenty of places to eat.

Need better pillows.
Location was great - 5 min walk to the beach. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was ok, the pillows need to be upgraded for comfort. The front desk staff were great. They have beach gear that is part of their resort fee which was great.
