I was there to run the Pell Bridge Race in Newport at 7am. It was very cold the morning of the race and all I wanted was a hot shower back at Rheas after the race. I was so disappointed there was NO HOT water and was unable to shower.

There was another couple that came into our room that had the same room number booked. We called the hotel and they did have another room available, so the other couple went there. Everyone was very friendly and helpful in this situation but it was a little unprofessional on the hotels part.

Exactly as advertised - no frills but a great, high value location to crash and explore Newport -which we did by bikes. Owner was nice enough to let us keep our truck in the driveway during the day. We will be back as my elderly parents are in elder care nearby and we can’t afford $$$$$ Newport hotels, so we are grateful. Thank you

I prefer the check-in method. Convenience was a big plus. Parking in the back is also a nice option. Room was neat and clean. Each room has its own bathroom. The Bed was comfortable. Very nice view from our bedroom window!

I texted prior to my trip to find out if there was a refrigerator, microwave, and hairdryer in the room and as told "yes to all three," but there was no microwave. The bathroom is tiny. There is no desk/work area in the room. You can hear people entering/exiting the other rooms, walking in the hall, talking through the walls. There is no staff on site; while I didn't need any kind of room service (e.g. more towels, trash emptied, etc.) I'm not sure how it would work if I did. There's a phone number to text...but I got no response when I texted about not having a microwave.

I booked a double queen and was given room #3. It was clean and comfortable. There is a small refrigerator/freezer in the room. The Thai restaurant on the first level has excellent food and a friendly staff.

There was some noise of furniture moving around from the restaurant later in the evening, they were probably cleaning. Not terrible but it wasn’t super quiet.

We would have liked a ethylene in the room. We have a couple of large luggage which we had to carry up to the second floor.

The size of both the bathroom and room were very good. Location was good for visiting Newport Thai restaurant was very good.

Disappointed that breakfast was promised on my purchase page and there was none. The bed was very hard. Also, the wall to the next room was so thin that the screaming infant next door sounded like it was almost in the room.

We did not expect that there was no staff present for the hotel. We did not check messages sent to us before arriving to the hotel, and staff from the restaurant was not helpful explaining to us that there is no hotel office. Later another restaurant staff person was kind telling us to check our email and find information about checking in. I wish some note at the entrance to the hotel would point this to us so we would not waste our time looking around.

Room 5 was small (maybe 150 sq ft), with no chest-of-drawers or the like to put your clothes in - plan on keeping them in your suitcase on the suitcase stand. Two people would be a stretch for this room. No worktable or chair. No microwave, coffee maker, or iron/ironing board. Shower was tiny (about the size of a broom closet - you practically have to stand outside the shower to wash the soap off your legs). No phone (not a big deal really). No alarm clock (again, not a big deal).

Bed was very comfortable - better than any in my own home and the best I've experienced lately in traveling. AC worked extremely well. Location was ideal for someone visiting Naval Station Newport and also close to downtown Newport and the beaches. Price was reasonable for the tourist season. Thai restaurant and full bar downstairs. Free parking in back.

The price, I didnt realize it was such a small room with no amenities. I met a couple that stayed downtown in a bed and breakfast who paid half the price, and they got meals included. Not worth the money spent.

I enjoyed the easy self check in process, the emails were very detailed and easy to follow directions.

There was no ice

We had a good stay. Self check in was nice. The only down fall was we didn’t not have access to any ice and we had to call someone to find out the machine wasn’t working. It’s on a busy road and about ten mins from downtown. I thought the room was a little pricey for where the room was. Overall was nice, comfy and clean

The tub had jets and I couldnt figure out how to turn them on … so user error. Loved the property!

It had a surprise double wide bathtub! It was super clean, quiet and relaxing.
