Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaIt wasn't very obvious in booking that our room would be in a separate apartment block building up a steep hill that you essentially have to drive up and down. But the view from the room was stunning, just was unexpectedly small with not much furniture in the room for seating or relaxing.
Beautiful historic resort hotel in a stunningly beautiful location. Food was exceptional, pools and saunas dated but well-kept and relaxing to enjoy. Staff helpful and friendly, massage treatment at the spa was wonderful.

United States of AmericaThe walls were thin and you could hear the squeaky door on the front of the building. Plus I asked for a view and I was given the last room in the building in the back.
Dinner was good and the view was amazing. The amenities were great.

United States of AmericaWe have been coming for years and the outside facilities are becoming more and more run down for the type of destination its touted to be. It needs road work and bulkhead and walkway, pond repair as well as maintenance on some of the buildings. The mansion itself seems nice but the rest of the grounds can use a little tlc.
The room had a great view and the location was wonderful. We have been to Rosario many times usually in our own boat. This was the first time we used to hotel. There is lots to do on site including hiking and in healthy walking distance of Moran State Park.

United States of AmericaOur room wasn't as clean as we would've expected...there were moth balls in the corners left in the bathroom area...and stains from previous hotel guests in the carpet entryway into the room. The back of the tv had built up dust and minor dirt/biild up in the slider door tracks....things that you notice after being in the room for a while.. Also for the upscale feel of the resort it would be nice if they invested in some pillows that support the neck a bit more....hubby and I both had issues falling asleep as we're used to memory foam themperapedic pillows at home... and the beds could have a little more density/support to accommodate individuals with back problems knowing this place specializes in care of the body with a spa on the grounds, you would think those kind of things would be considered in upgrading..
The location and the scenery at this resort is unbeat, because of the way the hotel sits on a mini peninsula, you get an all-around perfect view of the marina and bay in all directions. The historical museum and restaurant condition is absolutely breathtaking and rich of culture and character. .A definite must see as a leisurely stroll through the grounds...it's open from 8am to 8pm for public by self guided tours. Make time to stroll through the lush and green garden beds sprinkled throughout the property and consider waking up extra early to enjoy the sunrise in the morning when everyone is still asleep. It was a bummer the 3rd floor is closed to the public in the moran mansion museum, as that is where the library is, but it is still nice to be able to view the most beautiful music room. The option of 2 pools is very nice so families with kids still have an option to swim when it's cooler put with the heated pool placed further away on the grounds. All in all, with a few upgrades to guests' comfort measures this place would be unsurrmountable to other sleeping accomodations on this island. Foe the most part. We we're pleased with our 3 day stay here.

United States of AmericaI know mold on shower tile caulking is a never ending problem. Would have been nice if our tile had been cleaned better. There was quite a bit there. Took a little beating from the shower head. Crazy force. Tall people will love it! It’s very high on the wall. Room was cleaned well except for the shower tile.
The property is in a beautiful setting on the water. The mansion is beautiful but in need of some paint. Hopefully that’s on their radar for this summer. Rooms are set up in various buildings. When I booked our room, the bayside rooms (only 2 available) is all that came up on booking.com. Harborside rooms would have a better view (higher up at the end of the bay facing out)and indeed were available but didn’t pop up on booking.com. Same price too, so that was frustrating. Bayside rooms closest to the mansion and restaurant at the marina which was nice. Overall, great place to stay. Nicest place on Orcas Island in my opinion.

United States of AmericaThere were a few places where the resort showed it's age, but nothing that distracted from my stay.
All rooms had balconies and the views were wonderful. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful.

United States of AmericaThe only things we didn't like was the bed seemed a little old and extremely soft. Like it was almost like we were sleeping on a big down pillow or something. But I'm sure some people like that. And the only other thing was that we had about $120 in cash stolen out if our car. We were dumb and didn't lock the car. But still kinda makes me wonder about security on the property and what not.

United States of Americaroom was icy when we checked in and took several hours to reach a comfortable temperature. The road from checkin to the rooms (nearly 1/2 mile) was in very bad shape with many deep potholes. There is no cell phone service (not their fault) but free wifi in room.
great view and location. Great breakfast available. Did not try dinner there. Room was comfortable (after it heated up) and had frig and microwave. Checkin and restaurant are in historic mansion that guests can visit to see parts.

United States of AmericaLoved the king size bed but the mattress was a bit soft for us - we could feel every movement.
Beautiful location and very friendly staff. We brought our 13 month old and were told there was so crib option - we brought our pack and play and were so surprised and touched that there was a pack and play waiting for us in the room with fresh sheets. That was such a special touch. The indoor pool was great. Our meal was wonderful and check in staff and restaurant staff were great. We will definitely be back.
