Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bed was marginal. The bathroom left much to be desired. The toilet wobbled and clearly was not mounted to the floor. The drain for the bathroom sink was so slow that it would come close to overflowing in just the time it took to brush my teeth.
Close to the boardwalk was definitely a bonus. Room was clean but dated.

Staff wasn't super friendly and motel wasn't that clean. People sitting outside of our room at 2-3 am scaring the kids. They had an elevator but had to find out from a man that lives in a home across from the motel after we just had to walk 3 flights up with our belongings to get to room .
That is was a Block away from the beach and boardwalk

the curtains in our room were distastefully cut, our shower drain was clogged and the shower curtain was moldy and pretty gross, the floors needed to be mopped and swept in our room before we checked in, and the comforters looked like they haven't been changed since the 90s... the sheets were clean though. other than that, our room was decently comfortable for the price and location.
staff was accommodating and friendly, the location is steps away from the boardwalk and BEACHCOMBER! my girlfriends and I loved our room location (room 210). we felt safe and everyone around us minded their business. pool is big and rooms are comfortable enough if you're just looking for an affordable place to sleep at night for a weekend. A/C was bussin and we had fun!!!

Didn’t like that the room smelled like cigarettes when I checked in. the toilet got clogged a couple of times the water in the shower took 20 minutes to heat up , some of my towels was dirty and bed sheets smelled.
I liked that it was close to the boardwalk .

Room was supposed to be 2 queen beds. Received 1 queen bed and a full size bed on a queen box spring which was not sturdy and would flip over if you sat on the bed

It was dirty not clean the beds were falling apart the furniture is outdated all mixed match especially for the price they asked for.

the door didn’t close correctly! the bathroom was absolutely disgusting, the bath towels were not clean! it was dark and dingy with no bright lights! the tv was blurry! the bathroom sink clogged immediately! the floor was dirty, the curtains were falling down and apart, and the air conditioner didn’t work correctly!

dated, first room was dirty, hair on the bedding in the shower, lots of water damage to the walls. switched rooms 2nd room a little better but still dirty and run down. parking sucked. holes in bed and bedding dirty towels under the sink head boards filthy

It was very old and not clean. Lots of people smoking cigarettes and weed. Tv was very old and bad reception for regular channels.
A block away from the boardwalk. Was definitely a plus.
