Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe layout of this very large public area was confusing. There were no signs directing you from the entrance to the registration desk. The elevator from the street entrance to the main floor was hidden behind a door with no signs to direct you there.
The room was very nice and quiet. The breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced for a hotel. The public areas reflected that it was once a train station. I liked the open area courtyard outside my room.

CanadaThe internet connection was poor. I had to go to reception and have them work to get our internet connected so I could retrieve our tickets for the hockey game. The menu in the lobby was quite restrictive and we were unable to find anywhere else to eat on the property after 9:30
Breakfast was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to have bottled water replenished. The light show in the evenings was spectacular.

United States of AmericaPoor food menu choices at the bar and quality of food was sub par for an establishment of this caliber. Need a quality restaurant "inside" the hotel. The walk to the nearest restaurants was quite cold and inconvenient. There is so much space for potential restaurants within the hotel.
Great staff, great rooms, very very quiet and comfortable! Valet Parking staff were outstanding in spite of the bitter subzero temperatures

United States of AmericaThe rooms I booked were not available. The rooms I got were not close together. The wee at the end of two separate wings. I was charged more than my original rooms were booked for. There was no bedding for the pull out bed and it took over an hour to get a set of sheets and a single blanket for the bed. I requested the rooms be paid when booked but they charged the card I had to put on file when I checked in instead.
The rooms were clean.

United States of AmericaIt’s very inaccessible due to its size but also maybe because of how old it is. There is no short way to get anywhere in the building. There aren’t many signs to point you in the right direction. The registration desk was difficult to find and there wasn’t staff to ask where to go. It’s like a huge maze and you have to find your own way or ask other patrons. The elevators are horrible. Twice, the doors shut on us and we weren’t all in. Once our younger children were on by themselves because it shut too fast and they were scared as they didn’t know where to go. If you have any mobility issues at all, do not stay here.
It’s a beautiful property with a rich history.

United States of AmericaThey hosted a dinner event sand posted signs in the parking lot saying lot full, I didn’t post this much for a hotel to not be able to park in the secure lot, we ended up talking to the people at the lot and found a spot. Also, finding a way inside during the event was troublesome since even though the event was blocked off we had to walk around the huge building to find another way inside them up to our room. Finally, the hot water in the sink had little to no pressure and the cold faucet leaked All over the counter so watch anything you don’t want getting wet.
The location was great, we could walk to anything we wanted. There’s so much to see and do at the hotel we didn’t have to leave; restaurants, bars, architecture, the aquarium. The history here is obvious everywhere you look, I loved that aspect the most I think.

United States of AmericaI am a disabled person who needs a wheelchair. There were ramps and elevators. But not all we’re easily accessible. There were not enough handicapped accessible doors. It is very challenging to push a wheelchair and open a door at the same time. A single parent with a stroller would have the same problem. Also, when trying to access the ramp the way was closed due to a wedding.
We loved the staff, all were very kind and helpful. The valets were excellent. The building was beautiful and the room was great.

United States of AmericaThe general mills convention attendees...nothing but rude. That's not something the hotel can control, but it did make the trip a bit less enjoyable. I wish the outdoor attractions were covered more to keep out rain. Lots of leaks in the area with the glass ceiling.
The staff was amazing! The food from The Station Grill and some of the other property eateries was fresh and perfect each time we ordered. Getting needed toiletries was as simple as calling the front desk, and none of the staff seemed irritated at the request. Additionally, the hourly lobby shows on the ceiling were fun, and our daughter loved them. The hotel is also conveniently located in regard to local attractions, and the architecture of the building is something you don't want to miss seeing.
