Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaRoom with a bit of a closed smell, dust on the table where the beds were, shower water leaks on the external floor of the bathroom area, details that can be adjusted
Great location, I was with a friend and we asked her on the day of check-in if we could change the room to two single beds, and we were promptly assisted! secure parking and good breakfast!

United States of AmericaCleanliness is not up to par. While settling in the room, I almost cut my foot on the broken glass, which was overlooked by cleaning staff. Fortunately, we were promptly provided with another , cleaner room. Check in /out and breakfast at another location- at Prytania Park Hotel. Though very close, it might be unpleasant to go for a breakfast in a bad weather. Breakfast itself is very basic- just yogurt, canned fruits and cereal. Not enough hangers in the armoire. The area has a lot of dilapidated and abandoned buildings. The key card has full info about hotel, so if a card gets stolen a thief would know exactly were to go.
Nice hotel in a very quiet area. Private parking at Prytania Park hotel. The room had everything you might need- AC and sealing fan, coffee maker, mini-fridge, microwave, safe, iron with iron-board, hair dryer. The bed was comfortable with clean linens. Spacious bathroom with toiletries, including makeup removals. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When checking out, reception lady offered us to order a taxi to the airport, which we gladly accepted. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast was nonexistent when I checked for it at 8 AM. We killed a roach, which is to be expected in a low-lying city. Thankful it was only one!
Love this section of town and the value of The Oaks. The close walk to the streetcar was perfect. Wish I'd known about the Jazzy pass earlier, because we used the streetcar a lot!

United States of AmericaThere was an armoire for hanging clothes, but only a couple of hangers, which wasn't great for us since my husband and I were in town for a wedding and couldn't hang all of our dressy clothes properly. Check in was at another one of the properties and so was breakfast, which was fine, but it meant having to walk over there in the morning for instant oatmeal and bagels, and it was outside and some mornings it was pretty windy in that courtyard. (Let's be real, though, you want to go out for breakfast or save room for some other yummy stuff anyway). I was very busy during my stay, so it didn't matter to me, but I didn't get a wifi password at check-in.
Great location just a block from St. Charles Ave. (Streetcar, restaurants, stores) and you get the feeling of a real neighborhood without staying in a random Airbnb. You can walk a few blocks to a neighborhood park. Our room had a wonderful front porch and high ceilings; the courtyard was a nice place to rest in the afternoon. The staff was very friendly (and helpful when I accidentally locked myself out late at night) The bed was comfortable and the water in the shower was hot - no water-saving shower heads here! It was like taking a bath standing up. This was a great place to stay if you're visiting and won't be spending much time in your room. But it had everything needed; ironing board and iron, and nice toiletries; a continental breakfast. I used to live nearby, so that was one of the reasons I chose this hotel for the visit and I'd stay here again.

United States of AmericaRoom wasn't swept, floor was gross, couldn't walk without shoes/socks because dirt would stick to your feet. Smells moldy. Bed felt like it was going to collapse every time we moved, it would shift. Uncomfortable mattress. Nowhere to place a suitcase to unpack it, other than bed.
Location is fantastic for what we needed. Wanted to check out the Quarter and also needed to be up by Loyola, this was perfectly placed between the two, plus great eateries nearby. Staff was friendly and accommodating when we needed to keep luggage there after checkout time, before our flight.

United States of AmericaI was initially saying a Prytania Oaks, and it smelled of mold. I am very allergic and I was about to check out immediately. However, the guy at the reception, Emir, very kindly moved me to the other hotel they have (Prytania Park hotel) and they gave me a big, clean, safe and lovely room. I recommend staying at the Park Hotel and avoiding the Prytania Oaks.
location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. Breakfast is cold and poor. I used to have tea in my room, and then walk to a lovely French cafeteria for a great breakfast. The personnel at the reception (Emir) went far and beyond to help me find the room I liked better and felt comfortable. Prytania Park Hotel is safe, and absolutely nicer than the Oaks, even if it looks the opposite from the pictures on their website.

the staff were extremely pleasant. the room i originally was placed in didn’t have a working cooling unit, but when i spoke to the front desk, they immediately went to work to get someone to try to fix it. since it was the weekend and there wasn’t a maintenance person, they just upgraded us to a king room that did have a working cooler! they made sure we were taken care of despite the inconvenience. now THAT is good service
