Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaA light bulb in a lamp was burned out when we arrived. I got a replacement bulb at the front desk and installed it. (They offered to install it for me, but I assured them I was able to install it myself.)
I found the hotel very charming. It's an old building--which is part of its charm--but everything I saw was in good shape, and the room had all the amenities. The location was perfect for our visit to the WW2 museum. There's plenty of free parking (which we didn't need). The complimentary continental breakfast offered a good variety of choices. The two mornings we were there the weather was good, so the breakfast was "al fresco" (outside). I would be happy to stay there again.

United States of AmericaI was happy. I didn't come expecting luxury accommodations. This was a good place to sleep at a reasonable price. It met my expectations, which for this trip were a little lower than normal.
the location and the parking situation were very convenient. The bed was very comfortable as well.

The room is clean and spacious. I really enjoyed the fact that one bed is located on the loft. While we share the space, it provides some privacy. Love the location! In the heart of all the fun things of NOLA!

United States of AmericaNo real complaints.
It is a nice and quiet hotel that is just a block away from St. Charles street where there are lots of restaurants and a streetcar stop for easy access to the French Quarter. The breakfast is included and it is good spread given the pandemic with a toaster, cereal, yogurt and oatmeal. The queen room was an ok size for two people. The parking is free and safe with a security guard at night which is a big plus. The price of the room is reasonable for New Orleans, which is an expensive city in general.

United States of AmericaWindow shades in room too sheer. Security lights shine in your eyes all night. The first night clerk spent a good hour trying to get the cable box to work in the room with no luck. She sent the security guard in to fix it which is what he did after another good hour. Later that night the bathroom bulb blew out. Waited till the next morning to let the clerk know. I told her that we would be gone all day but would need the bulb change by the time we got back. It was not changed. Another night in the dark. The next morning she said she thought we did not want it changed while we were out. Who would not want a bulb changed?
Cute room. Easy access to the Quarter. Beds were ok. Clean

United States of AmericaThe room smelled like a musty, damp basement. Located in a hot and humid city during the summer, the hotel did seem to be trying to help with the smell and moisture issue though, because there was a DampRid container on top of the wardrobe… maybe a bigger container would helped better. :)
Free parking on-site. Fridge in the room. Organic/natural Green Tea shower products. Unique, homey, antique-feel to the room decor (ceiling fan, wardrobe, chest of drawers, night stand, and the side and desk chairs). Near restaurants and some attractions/things to do. Close to a streetcar pickup spot. The courtyard area in-between the rooms with the trees and plants was pretty cool and provided a nice visual while walking through.
