    Zero complaints

We liked the decor of the renovated mill. The rooms are charmingly 'industrial', with exposed brick and beam. The breakfast was far beyond expectation, in both quality and variety. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

I’m not sure anything could have been better.

The little extras - wine & cheese, milk & cookies and breakfast were so nice. Breakfast was delicious! The staff was great! Really good suggestions for places to eat and shop. And Miss Kitty was a very sweet ambassador. 😻

Property was beautiful and historic. Very clean rooms. King suite had full kitchen. Huge bathroom. Loved the layout of the room. Breakfast was delicious including eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc. Enjoyed the free glass of wine and cheese. Then milk and cookies before bed. Staff was amazing. Great location to walk downtown and to many restaurants.

Interesting building. Cosy lounge where milk and cookies were served in the evening. The historic site of Winston-Salem is close by in one direction and the centrum in the other with many galleries and street art. Nice and helpful staff.

The only thing that could have been better was some signage. When we were trying to find the hotel it was a little confusing. The hotel is attached to the visitors center. When GPS informed us we had arrived, that confused us a bit. Once we drove around the building we saw signs for parking and realized we were in the right location.

Check in was super easy and the gentleman at the front desk was super friendly. He offered us milk and cookies (which are offered every night before bed) and then walked us to the building where our room was located. Our room was an absolute dream! It was huge and beautiful with exposed brick and old world charm. We slept so well in the comfortable bed. I don't think I have ever felt sheets that soft! The absolute bonus for me was the cat sleeping in the lobby area!

Just a suggestion but maybe there could be an ATM possibly near the lounge or just in the lobby.

Everything about the place was so special. The young lady at the desk when we checked in was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and Old Salem. We just loved our room! Very unique and I'd love to be able to see what some of the other rooms look like. The oversized bathtub was just that ! It was massive . They offer wine and cheese in the evening as well as warm cookies and milk before bed! The complimentary HOT breakfast was plentiful and well received. The hotel is within walking distance of Old Salem so it's super convenient to keep your car at the hotel and just walk up the hill.
