Only options for food small restaurant and pizza. Price is expensive for the hotel stay.

It’s very close to Yosemite Entrance and gorgeous view of the Merced River. Bromelio at the front desk was very nice and helpful with our reservation.

Chargeable WiFi extra. Expensive to stay for just room only. 1950’s room and decor.

Large room with balcony facing a mountain. Located just outside of the park.

Wifi - it's on additional cost of $10/24 hours / 2 devices. It's nothing comparing to a room price of $400 - it would be much more better if you'd include that cost to the room price.

WiFi was not included, and the balcony door didn’t have a screen to keep out insects.

The view of the river was great, and it was nice having the jacuzzi tub. The location is perfect for visiting Yosemite!

The restaurant was mediocre and expensive, but we were happy to have it within the property for the convenience.

This is a modest and outdated hotel. Although some things could have been better maintained, overall it was a great stay for us. The location is excellent, just a few minutes outside Yosemite's Arch Rock entrance. We booked a 2-bedroom apartment-style room. We had 2 full bathrooms, 2 queen beds, and 1 king bed. We loved how spacious it was. There was a mini fridge and a very small microwave. The River view just outside our balcony was fantastic. Some of the fixtures were worn down and loose like the faucet of one of the bathtubs. The pillows weren't good, but the beds were fine. Were not really picky people, so it was all okay. We really just needed a lot of space, and close proximity to the park.

I'm sorry to go on about this but there is a "passive aggressive" attitude towards tipping in most U.S. restaurants. Tipping has gone from a nice gesture by customers to staff hovering over you with a piece of paper "suggesting" you tip them 20,22, or 25%, and if you don't you get obvious disappointment. I am considered generous in the U.K. because I always tip good service10%; most people don't tip at all. But in the U.S. I up treated like a lepur when I do this. This restaurant was as guilty as many others. We met an Australian gentleman who was particularly angered by this. Perhaps American employers should pay their staff properly like they do in Europe and Australia. Otherwise this is a terrific place to stay; top notch!

Lovely room, clean, good bar and restaurant. Location.

They make full use of the "everything is more expensive at a national park" excuse. You pay absolute premium prices for a mediocre hotel - nothing bad, but also no frills at all. Amenities were OK but not in great shape. As everybody else mentions, $10 for wifi per day. It's the 21st century, really?

Basically exactly as advertised: as close to the park as you can be without actually being in the park. On site restaurant is really nice!

It’s a short drive into the park which isn’t a negative feature as staying in the park can be very crowded. Very limited number of restaurants nearby.

Rooms were very clean, quiet location next to river, small but functional kitchenette for simple cooking and a small ‘store’ for essential foods and drinks. The restaurant was ok with good service though the pizza place wasn’t open at the time. There are several swimming pools and hot tubs too.

The buffet breakfast at The River restaurant was a joke. Food just slightly better than "OK", and HORRIBLY OVERPRICED. Over $50 for two, and my wife just had a glass of OJ and a bite or two of not-very-good-eggs.

It's all about the location: park boundary just a short drive away. Still, that is a long drive to get into the Valley, but oh well. We chose it primarily because it was dog-friendly, which none of the lodging in the Valley supported. There was a per-day pet charge, but that was expected.
