The 2 madams that help us were very friendly. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. The place is in the local area, that is always good to get to know the real life. Behind the place we found a chicken and coffee place that were very nice.

Restored using traditional materials, the Riad A la Belle Etoile offers 6 rooms decorated in a different style, a beautifully open patio with a cedar wood door and sculpted ceiling and walls.

Riad à la Belle Etoile invites you to a genuine travel in the heart of traditions and charm of Morocco.

In the heart of the ancient walled city of Salé, this historic riad has great views of Rabat and Kasbah Oudayas. Enjoy the sunset from the rooftop garden and lounge area. The rooms are beautiful, and the owner is very hospitable. I strongly recommend eating in at night at least once; the food is stellar! You won't regret it. And make time for a good Moroccan breakfast, too. A La Belle Étoile is centrally located, and easy to get to by taxi from Rabat Airport (use the small yellow taxis) or from Salé Train Station. The little shopping streets of Salé and the market, the beach with its fish market, and the Bouregreg Marina are all in easy walking distance, as is the tram into the central Rabat. You will find plenty to enjoy. I' prefervthis location to Rabat across the water. I'm definitely coming back.

Popular points of interest near the riad include Hassan Tower, Moroccan Parliament and National Office for Hydrocarbons and Mining. The nearest airport is Rabat-Salé, 10 km from dar wassim el ghali, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service.

the bed is the super comfy. I’ve been staying in hostels while traveling for the past 4 months and this is the best sleep I’ve gotten so far. Also, the towel for the shower is large which is always nice. the host comes in the morning to make breakfast and it’s right by the market but really calm at night time. Also there was a table outside my room in another room since not all the rooms were occupied so I have able to separate my work and relaxing spots. The shower just takes a minute to get hot.

The location was the best thing! Tramway stop right next to it and the hotel is in the heart of Medina. Easy to find. We enjoyed that everything was clean and tidy. Also the shared bathroom and kitchen was very good. There are 3 small flats, which is good for 1 bathroom. There is a big terrace where you can go outside and a restaurant on the first floor. (Where we received a VIP status as guests in the hotel, which was unexcpected but really lovely). Everything was beautiful and to a high standard as the price was affordable. We will come back to this place for sure!
